American Idol season one winner Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she and husband Brandon Blackstock are having a daughter. Congratulations are in order for the happy couple on their exciting news. The singer took to her official Twitter account to announce the news along with recently speaking of her pregnancy woes.

She tweeted, “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!”

Previously, she shared, “Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be “baked potatoes” #godblesspotatoes”. Also, she said, “Didn’t throw up once from pregnancy while walking my dogs #smallvictory #TMI”.

On January 9th, she shared on the social networking service, “In less than 6 months I’m gonna have a baby …..for whatever reason it’s really hitting me tonight. Wow. Gonna be the coolest kid ever.”

Kelly and Brandon were married on October 20, 2013 and she is now the stepmother to his two children Savannah and Seth. Prior to them getting together, Kelly said of Brandon, “Brandon is my manager’s son. I’ve known him for six years, but he was married. Then, suddenly, there he was at the Super Bowl and he was single.”

Upon tying the knot with Brandon, Kelly has also officially changed her name from Kelly Clarkson to Kelly Blackstock. We’re unsure as to whether or not she will continue to be known as Kelly Clarkson professionally, so that remains up in the air.

Kelly and Brandon’s daughter is due in June 2014. This will be her first child, while it will be Brandon’s third. Stay tuned to Earsucker for the latest news on Kelly’s pregnancy and we’ll be sure to update you with photos as soon as they are made available.
