Khloe Kardashian has been hitting the gym quite a bit lately and has lost a good chunk of weight. In a new interview, she has addressed her weight loss as well as her brother Rob’s problems. Recently, she said that Rob Kardashian was suffering from social anxiety, but she is opening up more about the subject.
When speaking in a new interview with Maria Menounos, she revealed that she has dropped thirteen pounds in the span of three months. When asked about her secret to success, she said, “I try to work out five days a week. It’s a lot, but I feel great when I do it. On the weekend I have a gym in my community. I try to do cardio. You just turn on some junk TV and you don’t realize what you’re doing, and I love that. I used to not watch what I ate. I would just kind of eat whatever. I was realizing, ‘I work out all the time. Why can’t I drop this weight?’ It’s really food. So I started dieting a little. I don’t eat dairy anymore – or I try not to, because I’m addicted to cheese!”
She thought it was BS about eliminating dairy in her diet, but she turned out to be wrong. She said, “I lost like thirteen pounds from just cutting out dairy. I was really shocked when my nutritionist told me that.”
She said, “Right now I’m taking certain things out of my diet little by little. I’m not in a rush to lose. I want to make this my life.”
Khloe also talked about her brother Rob and how hard it is for him to stay motivated. She said, “Rob definitely has his ups and downs, and he’s been struggling for the past year and a half, maybe two years, which I think we’ve all had those times in our life.”
She went on to say, “For the last week, he’s been doing better, but I want Rob to do consistently forever. So right now I’m really proud of him. He’s been working out a little and trying to get his groove back. And he acknowledges it! He’s aware that he’s very introverted and of course not the way he used to be. I think being aware is probably the best thing.”
She added, “Some days are great and some days he’s in his mood. Right now he’s good.”
Let’s hope that Rob Kardashian gets well and stays motivated!
