Just recently, Kanye West demanded that the crowd at a concert all rise. It was so nauseating that he actually stopped his show until he could get everyone to stand up for the occasion. He came across two fans and put them on blast for not standing, but they are handicapped. One showed off a prosthetic limb, to which West said, “Okay, you fine” and the other was in a wheelchair. If you’ve seen the video, then you know that the entire audience basically tried to shame the wheelchair bound fan into standing — even though it was impossible.
Now, West’s wife Kim Kardashian is jumping to his defense on Instagram. She shared video of the incident in question and then proceeded to defend the rapper. She said:
What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings
What is your opinion of what went down during the concert stop? West has already said that he isn’t planning on apologizing for the incident and that he feels like he’s been victimized over the whole thing. What do you think? Hit the comments and have your say below!
