Rapper Lil Wayne has announced that he is just about ready to retire from the rap game — and he wants to settle down! In February, he will release his album, “I Am Not A Human Being II” and afterward his final album “Tha Carter V” and that will be all she wrote for the rapper.
In a new interview with “MTV”, he revealed, “I know y’all want me around for a little bit, and ‘Carter V’ is my last album. Man, I’ve been rappin’ since I was eight years old. I’m 30 now, man. That’s a long time.”
As far as what the future holds for Lil Wayne, he gave some insight. He said, “My day job will probably be sports analyst, and I’ll skate all night instead of being in the studio all night.”
He also talked of gearing up to be a family man. Right around the same time he announced his plans to retire from the entertainment industry, he also said that he’s going to get all settled down. He added, “Yup. Yeah, man, yup. Happily married too. I’ll probably run down the aisle. I’ll probably slide into the preacher like it was home plate.”
