Lindsay Lohan’s community service is all done! The actress was in a mad rush to get it all completed and has done so right in the nick of time. Lohan was due in court today to answer to a judge for her reckless driving conviction from 2012. At that time, the actress slammed into the back of a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway, but later lied to the cops about being the driver of the rented Porsche.
She was given 30 days of community service to complete, but only had half of that done by November 2014. Her deadline was extended by the judge for today, but we are happy to report that she has attended to her necessary hours at the Community Service Volunteers in London and they are faxing over the documents to the judge today.
Her lawyer Shawn Holley will stand in for the actress in court today as she is still in London. TMZ reports:
As we reported … Lindsay waited until the last minute to get it done, and she put in her time at a breakneck pace beginning late last week.
There’s one thing that’s unclear … whether she completed her hours on Tuesday or whether she has a few left that she’ll do Wednesday before the court hearing. Since London is 8 hours ahead of L.A. she has the full day to finish if she hasn’t already.
We’re told CSV is prepared to send a letter of completion before her court hearing Wednesday morning.
Lindsay Lohan has completed her entire thirty days of community service as ordered by the judge in her case from 2012. It’s about time, isn’t it?
Who here is surprised by the fact that she wasn’t trying to put it off any longer? Some have said that she used her Bora Bora virus as an excuse in order to try and get out of her court date, but apparently that was no longer necessary. She squeezed in her community service hours at the last minute, leaving little doubt to her sincerity.
What do you think?
