Lindsay Lohan Defended By The Wanted's Jay McGuiness

When Lindsay Lohan punched psychic Tiffany Mitchell last week, it was said that the kerfuffle was all because of her infatuation with The Wanted’s Max George. Apparently that was not the case!

His bandmate Jay McGuiness is denying the reports that the fight was over Max, but did say that the fight was a “bit of a blur”. Lindsay was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault after she punched Tiffany at the nightclub in New York. It was reported that Lindsay was jealous over Max showing Tiffany too much attention after the concert at Madison Square Garden. Jay said, “It’s a bit of a blur actually, but some sort of scuffle with a fortune teller. It was very odd. We actually carried on partying after that. It was reported that was about Max, but I don’t think it actually was. But Lindsay was a total sweetheart on the night, so our experience is quite positive.”

After her time spent locked up, Jay sported a “Free Lindsay” t-shirt, but he had good intentions with it. He revealed, “I’m a little bit of an artist, so I got the old Sharpie out. And, yeah, after a small scuffle that went down, I felt very sorry for her. I wanted to cheer her up and I think she said she liked it, right?”

Despite that, Lindsay still has to deal with the repercussions of the fight. We’re guessing that she doesn’t like that much.
