Now that Lindsay Lohan has been keeping busy mucking up the memory of Elizabeth Taylor, she really doesn’t have time to portray Kim Gotti in the movie based on John Gotti’s life. There were many reports surrounding Lindsay taking on the role of Kim Gotti in the movie based on her father’s life, but her rep is quick to deny any deal has been made.
The movie’s producer Marc Fiore released a statement on Thursday, saying that he still wanted Lindsay in the movie. He said, “Lindsay does not have a contract. But right now, we’re not in the phase of doing casting. I still have every intention of speaking to Lindsay about the role of Kim Gotti. There’s no truth to Lindsay being out of the film.”
That must be news to Lindsay, because her rep stated otherwise. Steve Honig said, “I can confirm that Lindsay has not signed on to be a part of the John Gotti movie, nor is she in talks to join the cast. It does not look like an agreement can be made. Lindsay’s representatives and film producers were unable to come to an agreement. Lindsay has the utmost respect for Barry Levinson and the producers and hopes to work with them in the future and wishes them all the best.”
