Lindsay Lohan has successfully completed her first phase of treatment at the Betty Ford Center and has been moved to a sober house. The property is near the main facility and Lindsay is receiving residential day treatments.
At the new house, she is able to enjoy supervised activities, as well as venturing out to do her own grocery shopping. A Betty Ford rep said, “It’s a buddy system and no patient is allowed to go out by themselves.”
The move doesn’t mean that she’s allowed to have free reign, though. Her family won’t be able to visit her at the new place, as family meetings can still only take place at the main house and only on Sundays.
It’s a step in the right direction!
