Lindsay Lohan Won't Face Prosecution In Hit & Run Case

Lindsay Lohan was arrested on September 19th for hit and run after allegedly hitting a pedestrian by the name of Jose Rodriguez. She went into the Dream Hotel in Manhattan and when she came out, she was busted by the cops. It all began when she drove into the hotel’s underground parking lot in the wee hours of the morning. She was then booked for leaving the scene of the accident and was later released without having to post bail.

Her rep dismissed the reports that she hit a man and defended her against the claims. Now, we’ve learned that the prosecutors on the case have dropped the charges against Lindsay. Apparently they don’t have sufficient evidence to prosecute her. The surveillance footage of the alleged accident proved to be inconclusive.

This comes as good news for the actress, who was recently bombarded by an intervention at the hands of her father. Reportedly, he is looking to secure a conservatorship over his daughter.
