Lindsay Lohan's Speeding Caused Porsche Crash

On June 8th, Lindsay Lohan crashed her rented Porsche into the back of a truck causing some pretty scary damage to the car. Surprisingly, there were no fatalities as a result of the accident. She tried to pin fault on the driver of the truck — even though SHE rear-ended HIM. It’s never really Lindsay’s fault, is it? Is the LAPD just giving her a pass to do whatever she wants?!?

The investigation into the crash is coming to an end and it appears that Lindsay WAS at fault! This is news to no one except her. Ha. Apparently the rehabbed actress was speeding at the time of the accident. And it gets even better from there. Not only was she going over the speed limit, but there were no skid marks — so she didn’t even brake when she crashed into the truck.

A source told RadarOnline, “The investigation is almost complete, and Lindsay was speeding in the moments before the accident. She was probably going ten miles over the posted speed limit, which would have been around fifty miles per hour. There were no skid marks, which indicate that Lindsay was indeed speeding and didn’t have time to even hit the brakes before she crashed into the truck. Lindsay is lucky to be alive, and that no one else got seriously injured. Lindsay could be cited by the Santa Monica Police Department for causing the accident, but it doesn’t seem very likely. The police report and investigation findings will be turned over to Lindsay and the trucker, James Johnson’s respective insurance companies. Lindsay’s Porsche was totaled in the accident and was a complete loss.”

In addition to all of that cracktastic goodness, the cops also commented that there was no open bottle of alcohol in the car. Sergeant Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica PD said, “There was no container retrieved from the vehicle. There was a container found in the debris by the side of the road but that doesn’t mean it came from the car.”

They could dust that bottle for fingerprints, no?
