Tonight on AMC is an all new episode of the hit drama “Mad Men.” This episode is titled “The Other Woman” and might just bring some drama into the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. In case you’ve missed last week’s episode, you can read our full recap at this link.
Last week on the show, Lane forged Don’s signature on a check to pay his taxes. Joan got served with divorce papers and she nearly took the receptionist’s head off. Don took her for drinks to calm her down, but in the process has upset Megan, whose only sin was becoming familiar.
In the promo clip, Joan is telling Lane that he needs to stop being afraid. Afraid of what? Perhaps he told her how he embezzled money because he was too afraid to speak up to the other partners to tell them that he needed it? He does need to come clean about where that “surplus” $50,000 came from and the $8,000 that he stole from the company.
Also, Trudy is telling Pete that they should stop playing games. Playing games about what? Does she know about how Pete has gone astray with Beth? Is she “the other woman”?
The pitch that Don is challenged by is likely the Jaguar deal. He’s looking to be moving back toward a lot of his older ways with his work ethic, as evidenced by last week’s episode. Is Don going to move back to his old ways personally, as well?
As you already know, Don has been pretty good this season about not cheating on Megan. Whereas when he was married to Betty, he hopped beds like a mad man. Perhaps he’s the one that’s going astray? Megan was pretty upset with Don when he didn’t come home all day. Does she think he’s messing around on her?
