Mariah Carey Blasted Over Poor Vocals At Tokyo Concert

Mariah Carey kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse world tour in Tokyo Saturday and apparently her vocal abilities are no longer up to snuff. At least that’s what appeared to be the case when she began performing her hit song “Vision Of Love” and her voice cracked. Sad.

You will always be a legend to all of your lambs, Mimi. Right click on the video below and hit play for the video proof.

She became Twitter fodder from her fan base after the video surfaced, with fans stating that she basically doesn’t have the singing touch anymore. It was sadly obvious that she was struggling to hit the high notes of which she became famous. One Twitter user said, “It’s a wrap for Mariah Carey’s singing career.”

Another said, “Mariah Carey should’ve bowed out right when her voice was giving out. Save herself the embarrassment.”

Another revealed, “I see why Mariah Carey never sings live anymore. That’s why.”

Her spokesperson said in a statement, “The comments we have heard from the fans have been great!”

As you may know, Mariah and her soon-to-be ex-husband Nick Cannon are embroiled in a divorce. They tied the knot in 2008 and have two children together named Moroccan and Monroe. Prior to filing for divorce, they spent every anniversary together renewing their vows. Speculation of a divorce hit a fever pitch when the twosome failed to do so this year.

It was rumored that Nick was stepping out on Mariah with Wiz Khalifa’s wife Amber Rose. Amber claims that there was no cheating during her part of their marriage, but countered that it was actually Wiz who was cheating on her. She was most recently seen hanging around Nick Simmons, so she could be rebounding with him, even though he is a bit younger than she.

Either way, we are hoping that Mariah Carey can get her voice back in order because this is far from the last show that she’s going to have to perform in as part of her tour. Get it together, Mimi, your fans demand it!
