Miley Cyrus' Intruder Pleads Not Guilty To Trespassing

On Saturday, a 40-year-old man by the name of Jason Luis Rivera was arrested on Miley Cyrus’ property after being caught on the grounds. He told the authorities at the time that he is married to Miley and was just there to see her. Luckily for the former Disney teen queen that she wasn’t home at the time, as the culprit was wielding a pair of black and green scissors.

Now, we’ve learned that the perp doesn’t think he has done anything wrong. In court on Monday morning, Jason pleaded not guilty to the charges he is currently facing with regard to this incident. The spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office said that the culprit was arrested on Saturday after he was found trespassing on the front lawn of Miley’s Studio City home.

Frank Mateljan said, “We charged Rivera today with two counts of trespass PC 602m and PC 602k. Additionally, Rivera ran from the police and we charged on count of PC 148a1.”

It all went down at 4:10 AM on Saturday morning and neither Miley nor her fiance Liam were home at the time. Lt. Brian Wendling said in a statement, “He thinks they were married. And I would say delusional is a good characterization of him.”

We agree! We’re thankful that this didn’t turn out worse! Jason is due back in court on September 17th for a bail review. Currently, his bail is set at $100,000.

What a weirdo!
