Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Her Hospitalization

Former Disney queen Miley Cyrus was hospitalized smack-dab in the middle of her Bangerz Tour. She was hospitalized in Kansas, which led to the postponement of many of her concert dates. Some tabloids speculated that Miley fell victim to her drug taking ways and hard partying life. Her doctor said that she suffered from an allergic reaction to a medication that she was prescribed to deal with the flu.

Since, Miley has been released from the hospital and is doing well — but that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t scared during her stay. She talked to Ryan Seacrest about her hospitalization, saying, “I’m doing good, much better. It was so scary. I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to. It was insane.”

While receiving treatment, Miley had to cancel numerous dates of the American leg of her tour. Still, she was bored out of her mind while being treated. She said, “I was crying because I was so bored. I’m laying here hooked to all these machines. Every two hours, some woman comes in and pokes me with a needle, just miserable. I’m just laying here with nothing to do. I was begging the doctors, ‘LEt me out to go do the show!’ It was basically no way.”

The medication she received during her hospitalization caused her to lose her appetite, but she managed to find something to munch on that didn’t make her feel sick. She said, “I wouldn’t eat anything cause the medicine made me sick except Cracker Barrel. So all I did for five days was be on steroids, get myself better, and eat Cracker Barrel.”

She is expected to resume her tour in Europe on Friday.
