Netflix Brings Back 'Full House' As 'Fuller House' For 13 Episode Run

Netflix is bringing back to life the sitcom, “Full House”, but its new name will be, “Fuller House”. This will be a 13 episode series debuting next year and will bring fans up to date on the lives of the Tanner family. John Stamos will appear as a visitor and Candance Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are all returning to the show. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier have not committed to returning, they are still negotiating.

The show will catch us up on what the characters’ lives have done since the sitcom ended, here is what the performers have been up to:

John Stamos: Having played the part of Uncle Jessie led Jessie to star in a series of TV movies and a couple of series that lasted only one season.The final three seasons of, ‘ER’ he found some success and also appeared on, ‘Glee’, ‘Two and Half Men’ and commercials for Dannon Yogurt.

Bob Saget: Leaving ‘Full House’, Bob also left, ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’ about the same time. He starred twice more sitcoms from there, ‘Raising Dad’, and ‘Surviving Suburbia’ and also did narrating on the sitcom, ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Bob did some hosting and directing as well.

Dave Coulier: Continued to do his stand-up comedy routines and continuously used his voice as a performer. Dave had appearances in several reality shows like; ‘Skating With Celebrities’ and ‘The Surreal Life’.

Candace Cameron Bure: Made a few appearances, but spent most her time with her family. 2009 brought her back to TV and she stared with the series, ‘Make It or Break It’. 2014 she competed on ‘Dancing With the Stars’.

Jodie Sweetin: She has not had an easy time since leaving, ‘Full House’ having developed a serious substance abuse. Jodie did have a few roles on small films and some movies.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: the tiny Michelle Tanner, played by both Olsen twins proved to be the advantage these two needed. From the sitcom, ‘Full House’ they moved on to capitalize on their fame with the company, Dualstar which produced a line of Olsen-themed items. In 2012, they both moved away from acting and went into the fashion industry.

Lori Loughlin: From playing Uncle Jesse’s wife, Lori went on to a few different series; ‘Hudson Street’, ‘90210’ and ‘Summerland’. Lori’s most recent series she has starred in was; ‘Garage Sale Mystery’.
