Are you ready to watch The Joker join the cast of ‘Gotham’ because that is exactly what is about to happen. Following Monday night’s episode a new Gotham trailer was released on YouTube. In the trailer we are reminded of some of the awesome characters we have already met, including The Riddler, Catwoman, and The Penguin.
The new promo for Episode 16 reveals that The Joker is finally here in a much younger and less Joker looking form.
Episode 16 is titled ‘The Blind Fortune Teller” and it also reveals the point in his life when a very young Bruce Wayne takes full control of Wayne Enterprises. It’s quite satisfying to see Wayne in his younger form as the head of his parents company.
The trailer proclaims that the next villain is “no joke,” and the young Jokers laugh is definitely menacing.
According to the official plot synopsis for the episode, the character in question is named Jerome, and is played by Shameless‘ Cameron Monaghan.
The Jokers origin story in the comic books is very vague which lends itself well to creating his story in the Gotham series.
