Actress Olivia Munn has been keeping busy filming television and movie projects recently, but apparently that the pressure really gets to her. To cope with all of the stresses of her busy life, she pulls out her eyelashes. Olivia suffers from Trichotillomania, which is basicall hair loss from repeated urges to pull or twist the hair until it breaks off.
She appeared in “Magic Mike” alongside Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello, as well as “The Newsroom” with Jeff Daniels. Her latest project is called “The Babymakers”, which is about a young couple who tries to conceive but can’t. Her character tries to retrieve an old sperm sample from a donation years ago. Of the movie, Olivia said, “What I loved about the movie is the dynamic of this couple. They’re in the early years of their marriage; they feel like they have time. Everything seemed to be working before, but now there’s this problem.”
She also revealed that she has anxiety and couldn’t cope with having her own child. She said, “I definitely don’t have a baby urge right now. I have this huge fear of something happening to a child of mine. What if I’m not a good parent and my child turns out to be a jerk? Like I need more anxiety in my life.”
She talked of her need to pull out the hair from her body, saying, “I rip out my eyelashes. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s really annoying. Every time I run out of the house, I have to stop and pick up a whole set of fake eyelashes.”
