Axl Rose has pushed back the release date of Chinese Democracy, again.
From the folks at LiveDaily, we find that he has canceled January concerts in order to finish working on the album. I’m of the opinion that most people who are paying to see shows that are constantly being canceled, due to the band’s poor management, will probably not come out of the woodwork once the album is finally released. He is not the same Axl from the 80’s, guys. Ya know what they say….”Live and Let Die”.
And I quote:
“It takes approximately eight weeks for an album to hit the shelves once it has been turned in to the record company. For whatever reasons, it appears that it may have been mistakenly inferred by management that this time period could be condensed to three weeks. With that being said, this is not a promise, a lie or a guarantee, but we do wish to announce a tentative release date of March 6.”
The good: Hopefully it’ll be a phenomenal album, and well worth the wait.
The bad: The wait….and the wait…and…did I mention the wait?
The oh-god-my-ears: I’m hoping it’s not Axl’s voice. This isn’t “Appetite for Destruction”.
