RECAP:

Round One – Jimmy Iovine’s Choice

Kree Harrison – “Perfect” by Pink
Keith – The song choice proves that she’s a country girl. He loves that she has a strong signature sound.
Nicki – Her voice is always warm and sweet and pleasant to the ear. She loved it.
Randy – He didn’t love the song choice for her. She can sing anything at any time, but it lacked pizazz.
Mariah – She liked the message coming from her and please give it her everything.

Candice Glover – “One” by U2
Nicki – She is a diva and she did the song justice. The competition just started. WORK!
Randy – The third time is going to be the charm for her. Amazing song choice for her. She’s in it to win it.
Mariah – She’s grappling with the fact that she did some other than sing as a profession. Great song choice.
Keith – She has so much power, every time. He loved that and he felt every bit of it.

Angie Miller – “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John
Randy – She did a great job holding back on this. He loved that she sang the verse and he really liked it
Mariah – It was one of the best performances she’s seen her do. She really enjoyed it.
Keith – She should’ve held back a little more and could’ve underplayed it.
Nicki – It was a stellar vocal, but it didn’t hit her emotionally. She’s bringing it.

ROUND TWO – JUDGES’ PICKS

Candice Glover – “Next To Me” by Emili Sande
Mariah – She got rejuvenated after going home & she sees good things happening for her.

Randy – An amazing song and it fit her like a glove. She was so comfortable.
Mariah – She concurs and it was very homecoming queen. She had confidence.

Kree Harrison – “Here Comes Goodbye” by Rascal Flatts
Nicki – You can’t underestimate or deny the power of a true emotional trigger. She’s super proud of her.
Randy – She sang her heart out. That was unbelievably beautiful. That was brilliant.

Kree Harrison – “Better Dig Two” by The Band Perry
Mariah – They’re seeing that rocker side of her. She loved to feel it. She loves the raw emotion.
Keith – That’s not the place for her and it didn’t feel right for her. She set the bar high.
Nicki – Whoever picked that for her should be stoned. She’s buying her album.
Randy – Props to Kree!

Candice Glover – “Somewhere” from “West Side Story”

Young & Restless Actress Jeanne Cooper Dead at 84

Soap legend and Corbin Bernsen’s mother Jeanne Cooper died this morning at the age of 84. News came from Bernsen himself about two hours ago via his Twitter account: @corbinbernsen “Mom passed this morning. She was in peace and without fear. U all have been incredible in your love. In her name share it 2 day with others.”

Cooper is best known for her Emmy Award winning role as Katherine Chancellor on the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless”, from 1973 to 2013. She was recently ill due to an undisclosed infection and was in and out of the hospital. Bernsen had been keeping fans up to date on her condition through Twitter and Facebook, where he spoke more of her passing.

He said, “I’ll go one last time now for a gentle kiss a final farewell for this lifetime. She has been a blaze her entire life, that beacon, that boxer I spoke of earlier. She went the full twelve rounds and by unanimous decision… won! And while her light finally gave into the wind that gives flight to all our journeys, there will always be a glimmer left behind by what she stood for. I will speak about that more in coming days, months I suppose. I will certainly dedicate what remains of my life to continue her purpose of honesty, equality, humility, empathy and love.”

Cause of death is unknown at this time.

Paris Hilton To Go Under The Knife Tomorrow!

Paris Hilton took to her twitter page hours ago to inform her followers of an impending surgery.

“Getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. So scared! Hope it doesn’t hurt too much & hope I don’t end up having chipmunk cheeks!”

This little nugget of information should not be this amusing, but considering this is the woman who thought that Wal-Mart sold walls, one has to wonder if she is worried about losing her “wisdom”. Poor thing.

Via Gawker, we’ve learned that the Cleveland hero who saved Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus does not want the reward money:

On if he’s a hero
No, no, no. Bro, I’m a Christian, an American, and just like you. We bleed same blood, put our pants on the same way. It’s just that you got to put that – being a coward, and I don’t want to get in nobody’s business. You got to put that away for a minute.

On if he should get the reward money
I tell you what you do, give [the reward] to them. Because if folks been following this case since last night, you been following me since last night, you know I got a job anyway. Just went picked it up, paycheck. What that address say? [...] 2203 Seymour. Where are them girls living? Right next door to this paycheck. So yes, take that reward and give it to—that little girl.

Khloe Kardashian Explains Why She Isn't Pregnant In 'Redbook' (Photo)

Reality star Khloe Kardashian says that she isn’t pregnant yet due to problems with fertility issues. In fact, she attributes her issues with getting pregnant to hormones and timing.

Khloe talked about it in the latest issue of “Redbook” and explained her difficulties conceiving with husband Lamar Odom. She said, “I do think my difficulty getting pregnant has helped a lot of women.”

She continued, “Do I wish people would quit asking me about it 24/7? Yes, but I don’t regret it. I was 26 when that started, and I admit, I didn’t know a lot about my body. It was hard for me to understand what was happening because my mom had six kids, and Kourtney got pregnant quickly.”

She went on to say, “People assume I’m desperate for a baby. And yes, I would love to have a baby. But I’m 28, and I’ve been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn’t feel incomplete right now. It’s more about my hormones being off.”

Khloe added, “I was taking hormone shots to stabilize them, and you have to take those shots consistently and they have to be done by a doctor—you can do them yourself, but I couldn’t. And then after your cycle, you have to go to the doctor for ultrasounds and more testing. And if I’m in Miami and miss a treatment, I have to start all over again. It’s a commitment and I don’t mind doing it, but the timing was just off.”
