Rihanna Tops British Charts With 'Talk That Talk'

Rihanna has a good reason to celebrate! The Barbadian singer has reclaimed the number one spot at the top of the British album charts nine months after releasing her new album “Talk That Talk”. Congratulations to RiRi!

Since its release in November of 2011, the album has remained in the top 40 for 38 weeks, but on only two occasions was the album at number one. She took to her official Twitter account to spread the cheer. She tweeted, “I’m sh**tin bricks right now!!!! 9months later bro.”

In other related news, Rihanna spoke to Oprah Winfrey with regard to her relationship with Chris Brown. For Oprah’s “Next Chapter”, Rihanna talked for the first time about how she felt after getting rid of Chris after his assault on her. In a preview for the show, which airs on August 19th, Rihanna said, “It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. I lost my best friend. I was resentful. I held a grudge. I was dark. I was super duper afraid of the pedestal that comes with fame.”

In an emotional clip from the interview, the singer also defended her decision to do a collaboration on “Birthday Cake” with Chris. It has been reported that Rihanna and Chris have since reconciled with one another and have been meeting up for dates on the down-low.
