Robert Pattinson doesn't want to alienate Breaking Dawn fans

Robert Pattinson spoke of his new movie, Water For Elephants, saying that it was a good movie for him to do, but he doesn’t think it will alienate fans of The Twilight Saga.

Now that Breaking Dawn has wrapped filming, he is trying to establish himself as more of a serious actor. Still, he maintains his image in the eyes of his fans, who have helped him catapult to superstardom.

In a new interview, he said, “I like the idea of this film but I also thought it was a fairly good career step. It doesn’t alienate the audience or immage that I sort of have. Also it’s not like it’s an ultra-violent or ultra-demanding film which is demanding to be taken profoundly. It’s a simple old-fashioned story which isn’t asking too much from the audience.”

Are you going to see Breaking Dawn when it comes out in theaters?
