Sandra Bullock, People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman 2015

Sandra Bullock, People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman 2015

In this day and age where beauty is on every corner, when we’re bombarded with billboards and beauty adverts starring the newest, hottest and skinniest models and actresses around at the moment, it was a welcome surprise to hear that People magazine have crowned actress Sandra Bullock as their “Most Beautiful Woman of 2015”.

Bullock who is 50 claimed that she laughed when she heard the news and told the magazine it was ridiculous
– she wasn’t ungrateful, of course but apparently was surprised as she probably has the same misconceptions about today’s beauty as we did.

Past winners of this prestigious title include Jennifer Lopez, singer and actress, the now somewhat controversial Gwyneth Paltrow, glamorous Julia Roberts and 12 Years A Slave actress Lupita Nyong’o – all of whom are very worthy winners of the title.

Bullock is currently working on the upcoming film, animated comedy, Minions where she plays the voice of the super villain and is an Oscar Award-Winning actress. The actress, although 50, looks radiant for her age and obviously works very hard to keep up her appearance. She’s healthy and happy and says that she feels like she gains most of her beauty from her five-year-old son, Louis.

Bullock says, “Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh I need to look like that. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying” which beautifully sums up her attitude to beauty and it’s meaning and makes sense of her amusing reaction to the news from People magazine.

Bullock has a healthy diet, including green juiceand her lifestyle includes working out up to five times a week whilst at the same time, enjoying life claiming that when her son asked her why she had wrinkles, she replied saying they were from laughing so much.
