Scott Disick's Alcohol Problems Stem From Grief

Scott Disick’s aunt thinks that the deaths of his parents have caused him to drink in excess. In case you’ve missed it, Scott was hospitalized recently with alcohol poisoning and his aunt Audrey Martone thinks that grief is the root cause of all of his issues with drinking. She said that the death of her brother Jeffrey just a few months after his wife Bonnie passed has really hit Scott hard.

In a new interview, she revealed to RadarOnline, “Scott lost both parents in a very short period of time, and I think being without them right now is a sad reminder. I feel for him and I try to give him the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has their own way of grieving, and I respect that.”

She continued, “They’re out in an area of Long Island where there are reminders of his parents. He might need some time to heal.”

She also said that she had only recently heard of her nephew’s hospitalization through the media and hasn’t heard a peep from Scott since the beginning of the year.

She added, “I didn’t know anything. Someone from work actually told me when they read about it.”

It sounds like Scott is either not that close to his aunt or perhaps he is just holding in all of his grief. He really needs to reach out to family and close friends so that he can heal.
