Sheryl Crow Diagnosed With Benign Brain Tumor

Singer Sheryl Crow has announced that she was disgnosed with a benign brain tumor by her doctors last fall. Crow, who has survived a battle with breast cancer, decided to make the news of her most recent health scare public because of fears for her memory. This comes after Crow recently forgot the words to the song “Soak Up The Sun” while performing live in Florida.

Doctors say they discovered the tumor last November after Crow underwent an MRI scan. The results of the scan showed Crow has a meningioma, the most common of all types of brain tumors. Meningiomas are asymptomatic, which means no symptoms from the tumor are felt during a persons life, nor is any treatment required.

Crow says she’s in no danger, and her current tour will go on as interupted.
