Sheryl Crow Staying Positive About Brain Tumor Diagnosis

Sheryl Crow was recently diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, but she’s not letting that get her down. In February of 2006, Sheryl was treated with minimally invasive surgery, followed by radiation therapy. Last November, Sheryl was on the receiving end of a brain tumor. Fans aren’t to worry, however, because this tumor is benign. Still, she is keeping a positive attitude about the diagnosis.

In a recent interview with the “Las Vegas Review-Journal”, she said, “I haven’t really talked about it. In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit.”

During a performance in Florida last month, Sheryl forgot the lyrics to one of her most popular songs, “Soak Up The Sun”. She told the audience, “I’m fifty, what can I say? My brain’s gone to s**t.”

It was revealed that Sheryl is suffering from a meningioma, which doesn’t usually require surgery or any other type of treatment. Let’s hope that Sheryl stays happy and healthy, as she certainly is a source of inspiration for those going through the same things.
