It wasn’t bad enough that Russell Brand picked on the Jonas Brothers at the Video Music Awards this year, for wearing purity rings and remaining virgins until marriage.

Now, he’s stirring the pot even more. When asked who he wants to kiss this New Year’s Eve, he replied, “I think all of the Jonas Brothers. But very gently and consensually.”

Nice.

Kid Rock knows how to have a party, alright. Apparently, the rocker got kicked out of a VMAs afterparty when he started trashing the furniture. It was said that he trashed the entire hotel suite and was smashing tables and breaking glasses.

An insider says, “Kid jumped on tables and chairs and crashed through one table. And he broke around 20 glasses.”

Dude, you’re not 17 anymore. Grow up already.

The Jonas Brothers are really good sports. After Russell Brand took them apart on stage for wearing their purity rings, they’ve said that they’ve taken no offense to his comedic routine.

Nick Jonas says, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentlemen.” He later added, “I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O’Brien and thought he was hilarious.”

It was funny, though, that when the camera panned to the Jonas Brothers while Russell was on stage making his jabs, they didn’t look too thrilled.

At least they’re good sports about the whole thing.

I’m not sure how I feel yet about Christina Aguilera’s eye makeup, but the dress was great and her performance was even better.

At least she’s not wearing her signature fire engine red lipstick. She always looked like some kind of tranny clown like that. Kudos to her for looking normal. Is it the apocalypse? Britney looked okay and Christina was minus the icky rep lip goo. Nice.

Didn’t Britney Spears look great at tonight’s Video Music Awards? She almost looks like her old self. It’s a shame that she didn’t perform tonight, I wanted another show like last year’s. People couldn’t stop talking about that crap.

Maybe she’s staging a comeback after winning three awards tonight. We can only hope!

I really like the version of Genie in a Bottle that Christina Aguilera did tonight. It’s great.

And I’m loving her new song, too.

Loved this song. She could’ve kept her version of Like A Virgin, though. Hated that crap.

Kobe Bryant came to the stage to present the award for Video of the Year. Nice suit. Notice they cut to Britney?

I can honestly say that I’ve never listened to them. That dude (?) has a real whacked out hair style. He looks like a japanese Tila Tequila. WTF, right? That wasn’t forgettable at all….that dude’s hair is going to haunt my dreams from hereonin. That just aint right.

Slipknot were brought in to present the winner of the Best Hip Hop video. What a weird choice. McLovin snuck on stage and he looks totally wasted. They threatened to beat that poor kid. But they didn’t. It might have made an improvement? Just sayin’.
