I’m watching the Video Music Awards tonight, and nothing of note has happened as of yet. Britney Spears did her little introduction, but before she was almost kissed by Jonah Hill.

Jamie Foxx is on stage to announce the winner of the moon man for Best Female Video.

The nominees are Britney Spears for Piece of Me, Katy Perry – I Kissed a Girl, Rihanna – Take A Bow, Mariah Carey – Touch My Body, and Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown – No Air.

The winner? BRITNEY SPEARS – PIECE OF ME!!!

Britney actually looks really decent tonight. The crazy drugs are working!

Britney Spears might actually be rehearsing this for a surprise VMAs performance. The song is tight! Kanye’s gonna be ticked!!

After Kanye West pretty much promised that he wouldn’t be doing the VMAs anymore, because his “skin wasn’t right”, but he’s renegging. Apparently, he’s planning to close out this year’s Video Music Awards.

I think he should keep his vow to never return. It just goes to show you that he talks a lot of smack and doesn’t back it up.

Also on hand to perform, is Christina Aguilera. She’s said to be helping commemorate the show’s 25th anniversary by singing her first hit, Genie In A Bottle.

Britney Spears is going to be kicking off this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. She is said to not be performing, so for those of us who had our hopes up for that one, forget about it.

I wonder who they’re going to have performing the opening show…Kanye?

I love Russell Brand’s accent. “You won’t hurt me dahhling, I like eet.”

Britney Spears hasn’t confirmed yet that she’ll be performing at the Video Music Awards this year, but she is doing a promo for the show. From what I understand, she’s doing the promo with Russell Brand. There’s supposedly a lot of ad-libbing and a big white “elephant in the room”. Guess she hasn’t lost her sense of humor.

I was hoping for another craptastic performance. We can hope!
