On tonight’s show, Castle joins Detectives Ryan and Esposito as they venture off to Atlantic City to investigate the murder of a casino owner. This also gives the guys an opportunity to give Detective Ryan an impromptu bachelor party.
Richard Burgi guest stars as Charlie Turner as the slick business partner of the victim.
The show opens with Rick dressed up as Elvis, being dragged away to a bad guy’s office. Cut to 16 hours earlier and Rick and Alexis are talking about her breakup with Ashley.
Rick and Kate arrive at the scene of the crime. The victim is Sam Siegel, the co-owner of the Sapphire. Kate tells them to call the Sapphire and get some info on the victim. Rick says that Atlantic City is the perfect place for a bachelor party. Ryan suggests a camping trip, but Esposito says NO, and that he’s in charge of it.
Ryan says that the GPS goes to his ex-wife’s place. They interrogate her and she said that they don’t get along anymore. She tells them that Sam told her he was in trouble and that he wanted her to sign over her share of a building. He told her that his life depended on it. He offered her $1.5 million for the building, which is the full price. She said she was in her apartment all night — her doorman confirms her alibi.
Captain Gates tell the guys to put out an APB on Ralph Marino and tells them to go to Atlantic City. Kate said for him to go with her, but Gates says that Castle is with the guys. She wants to see what Kate can do without him. Castle declares it an impromptu bachelor party while on a case. (continue reading…)

Will Rick be able to keep Kate off of her own case long enough to keep her alive? Why did she ignore him for three months when she knew how he felt about her? Why don’t they just get together already?

I agree with Kim Kardashian
by Jed Eckert on Apr.15, 2011, under articles

These are words that I never thought I would utter. Yes, for once in my life, I have to say that I agree with Kim Kardashian. Who knew this day would ever come?? Surely, I didn’t. How should I celebrate bask in my depression?
Surely you’ve heard the news that One Life To Live and All My Children have been sent to soap opera heaven, but Kim said the best possible explanation for their demise.
In a new interview with PopEater, the big butted Kardashian sister said, “Well, Kourtney was just recently on ['One Life to Live'], so I think she killed the entire 30-year brand.”
And the Nobel Prize goes to Kim Kardashian. Umm, no…but she could quite possibly be right.
Chris Brown apologizes for Good Morning America violence
by Jed Eckert on Mar.24, 2011, under articles

Chris Brown got mad at Good Morning America and busted a window after his recent interview. The good news for him is that it’s almost as if it never happened, except for the media outrage. The cops weren’t called, his probation wasn’t violated and he STILL has fans. The world works in scary ways, I tell you.
Still, he breaks a window and ABC is still begging him to come on Dancing With The Stars and perform in support of his new album.
He went on BET yesterday and apologized for the whole thing. Because, he’s a changed man, you know.
He said, “First of all, I just wanna apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions, because I was disappointed with the way I acted. A lot of people don’t know what went down, and obviously when I do shows or when I do interviews, we always send out a talking point sheet. As the interview proceeded, it was kinda thrown off. I was thrown off by it. I felt like they told us this just so they could get us on the show so they can exploit me. So I took it very, very hard and I really kinda kept my composure throughout the whole interview, although you can see me upset, I kept my composure, I did my performance.”
You know why he did his performance, though? It’s because it PROMOTES HIM. Duh.
He went on to say, “And when I got back I just let off steam. I didn’t physically hurt anyone, I didn’t try to hurt anyone, I just wanted to release the anger that I had inside me because I felt that I worked so hard for this music and I felt like people kept just trying to take it away from me. So yes, I got very emotional, and I wanna apologize for acting like that.”
So a question for Chris Brown’s fans: Aren’t you sick and tired of making up excuses for this douchebag?
ABC calls the police on Chris Brown!
by Jed Eckert on Mar.22, 2011, under articles

After Chris Brown had an epic fit in his dressing room after his Good Morning America interview, he reportedly smashed the window! GMA staffers called in the window repair crew, but not before they called the police!
We were curious how this would play out, considering that he’s on probation for the Rihanna beating incident. TMZ has more:
TMZ obtained audio near the dressing room where Chris allegedly took a chair and smashed a window, sending shards of glass onto 43rd Street. During the conversation between the staffer and a glass repairman, the staffer says “I have a police officer coming just to take a look at it before we do any work.”
Despite the conversation, NYPD sources tell us … none of their officers were dispatched to the scene.
If Chris did indeed smash the window, it probably constitutes at least 2 crimes — vandalism and assault on the passersby below. As a result, the judge in the Rihanna battery case could revoke Chris’ probation and, worst case scenario, he could end up in prison.
Do you think anything is going to come from this??? Let us know in the comments!
ABC bombarded with Adam Lambert complaints
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.23, 2009, under articles
ABC has said that the network has received over 1,500 calls in complaint regarding Adam Lambert’s performance from the American Music Awards last night.
The performance (view here) was seen as sexually themed with an S&M twist. Online commenters also complained at the show’s provocative nature. ABC said that the response was “moderate”, but Adam said that he wanted to break down the double standard between male and female performers.
It’s a shame that this is 2009 and people are still whining about TV performances. Get it together, guys. This isn’t the 1950′s and people need to be more accepting. You can’t tell me that you had your children watching this poor man’s Grammys….not and have me believe it anyways.
