Talk about crazy. Here’s AC/DC’s song “Rock and Roll Train” but put into ASCII art in an Excel spreadsheet. You can go here to watch the whole thing. If you’re running Windows and have Excel, you should only have to enable macros to watch the clip. If you have Open Office, odds are it won’t work for you.

I can’t even imagine how much time this took to make. Kudos.

AC/DC are refusing to sell their music through iTunes, because they fear that their fans will only buy “a few tracks”. The band wants us all to buy the entire album as a package because they say the songs “belong together”.

Angus Young says, “We don’t make singles, we make albums. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album. We don’t think that represents us musically.”

I love AC/DC, but if I can’t buy only the songs that I want, then they can keep their album. I hate to be one of those people that would buy the album just to find that it sucks except for a few good tracks.

Metalmongers AC/DC have reclaimed the domain that is their name, ACDC.com, from a porn site that was featuring “dirty deeds“.

So when the younger fans are hankering for some AC/DC tour date information, they can get it there, instead of being shown kinky things the chicks will do “dirt cheap“.

“The demographic of the band has shifted a lot,” the band’s label manager Sam Horsburgh said. “The push to get it back came predominantly because they knew there were a lot of younger fans coming through.”

Now, instead of fetish shots, fans will see this:
