Adam Lambert’s parents are cool with his sexually charged AMAs performance
by Jed Eckert on Jan.11, 2010, under articles
Adam Lambert’s parents are cool. Especially with all of the hoopla surrounding his November performance on the “American Music Awards”.
There was shove head/crotch action, some whips and chains and some dude-dude kissing and it’s all well and good with his parents. Of course it is, why wouldn’t it be?
He said his parents appreciated his AMAs performance, saying, “My dad is a Deadhead, my mom’s a Jewish-American princess from Jersey. They never got hung up on stuff like that, and I’m fortunate, because there’s a lot of people who come from households where it’s not okay.”
It’s okay, Adam, we still love ya.
Adam Lambert denies ‘Glee’ appearance
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.09, 2010, under articles
Pop singer and “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert has denied the rumors stating he was set to appear on “Glee”. He says, instead, he would prefer a role in “True Blood” or even “Weeds”. That reminds me, I love “Weeds”.
On his Twitter page, he said, “Glee guest star rumor: it’s a rumor. Sorry guys. I’d loooooooove to be on True Blood. Or Weeds.”
What show would you like to see Adam have a guest spot on?

Adam Lambert doesn’t want you to judge him
by Roberta Ferguson on Dec.13, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert tweeted this latest photo of him holding a pair of pink boxers with the words “Don’t judge me” on them.
Adam has been keeping busy with the holiday season upon us. Just recently, he co-hosted the Jingle Ball with performers The Fray, Flo Rida, and Shakira.
We won’t judge you, Adam, we’ll take you any way we can get you. Love your music, keep rockin’ kiddo.
Adam Lambert talks about ex-boyfriend Drake LaBry
by Roberta Ferguson on Dec.10, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert broke things off with ex-boyfriend, Drake LaBry just a month ago, but is already back to the top of the headlines. He said, “I’m putting a lot of energy into my career right now. People run into differences. We’re still very good friends.”
While attending the VEVO Launch in New York on December 8th, Adam’s attention also focused to the latest news on Tiger Woods, but avoided being negative toward the golf pro.
He said, “I think it’s funny that we all focus on people’s personal lives. I hope he’s happy!”
Indeed, as do we.
In other Adam related news, apparently Barbara Walters placed him on her Most Fascinating People of 2009 list, but failed to show his liplock with his keyboard player at the AMAs. On the other hand, she was sure to show Lady Gaga’s same sex kiss.
Double standards!

Eminem’s ‘Elevator’ lyrics from ‘Relapse: The Refill’
by Roberta Ferguson on Dec.09, 2009, under articles
Eminem’s new song, “Elevator” is starting to catch a lot of flack over the lyrics. Apparently, it was thought that he called Lance Bass and Adam Lambert an awful gay slur in the song, but he denies it.

Adam Lambert talks about AMAs performance – audio
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert talked to Ryan Seacrest about his racy stage performance at Sunday night’s American Music Awards, along with his subsequent GMA concert cancellation.
When asked about his AMAs performance, Adam said, “It’s choreography, we were dancing. The sexuality of it kind of got a little more extreme when I got up on stage. I think the adrenaline kind of took me over, and I admit it, and I’m proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. I don’t feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It’s just the fact that I’m me and it’s a little different for people. It’s really not that big of a deal.”
He added, “I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer.”

‘Good Morning America’ cancels Adam Lambert concert
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert was set to perform a couple of songs of “Good Morning America”, which was slated to air November 25, 2009. The show has pulled the plug on the appearance, after his racy performance at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.
The network said that it received over 1,500 complaints due to the content of the show, after Adam kissed a guy, shoved another’s head into his crotch and diddled a girl.
An ABC spokesperson said, “Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”
So sad that people won’t just let Adam be Adam. Female entertainers have been doing the same thing for a long time, so why the double standard?
Update: Ryan Seacrest has just tweeted this, “just got off the phone with @adamlambert. He’s not taking @ABC’s decision personally. “they probably have a lot of pressure coming at them”. He’s a good sport, but it’s just silly for them to cancel his performance. Shame on NBC for being so closeminded. This is 2009, not 1889.

ABC bombarded with Adam Lambert complaints
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.23, 2009, under articles
ABC has said that the network has received over 1,500 calls in complaint regarding Adam Lambert’s performance from the American Music Awards last night.
The performance (view here) was seen as sexually themed with an S&M twist. Online commenters also complained at the show’s provocative nature. ABC said that the response was “moderate”, but Adam said that he wanted to break down the double standard between male and female performers.
It’s a shame that this is 2009 and people are still whining about TV performances. Get it together, guys. This isn’t the 1950′s and people need to be more accepting. You can’t tell me that you had your children watching this poor man’s Grammys….not and have me believe it anyways.

Adam Lambert’s AMAs performance video
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.23, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert made his awards show debut at tonight’s American Music Awards, at the Nokia Theater. He performed his first single, “For Your Entertainment”, and while it was a bit risque, I don’t see what the big deal is.
He was new to the awards show stage and yet he still took some risks. He made out with a guy after shoving another guy’s face into his nether regions.
It was risque when Madonna did “Vogue” in the nineties, as well. She lifted up her dress for a guy’s face, shoved two guys’ faces into her chest and let another squeeze her boobs. So what’s the difference? This was the nineties.
Tonight, Adam Lambert kissed a guy, fondled a girl (shocker!) and shoved some guy’s face in his crotch. Is this really a big deal?
He talked to “Rolling Stone” about the possible censorship of the re-broadcast of the AMAs. He said that if the west coast broadcast of the show was censored, it would be “discrimination.”
He’s absolutely correct. It wasn’t that big of a deal, so put your big girl panties on and relax.

Buckcherry Frontman Josh Todd to replace Steven Tyler in Aerosmith?
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.17, 2009, under articles
Even though it’s been said that the guys in Aerosmith are not breaking up, Steven Tyler might be on hiatus from the band for an entire two years.
Joe Perry has said that the band still wants to play, so they may be looking around for replacements. In a new poll, “Rolling Stone” asked its readers who should replace the aged rocker. The readers responded that Buckcherry’s frontman, Josh Todd, would be an adequate replacement.
Here are their top five replacement selections:
1. Josh Todd (Buckcherry)
2. David Johansen (New York Dolls)
3. David Lee Roth
4. Iggy Pop
5. Adam Lambert
I don’t think anyone would be able to replace Steven Tyler. He’s unique, old school, and classic. To replace that would take away from the band’s signature sound. What do you think?

Queen still wants Adam Lambert
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.09, 2009, under articles
The guys in Queen are not giving up Adam Lambert without a fight! Brian May and Roger Taylor still want to snag Adam up to be their singer, even though he didn’t win “American Idol”.
In a recent interview, Roger said, “We did play in the finale of American Idol with the two final guys, one of whom is…Adam. He didn’t actually win…but he is one of the most phenomenal singers, and I think at some point in the future we’d love to do something with him. He’s phenomenally talented. He has one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard.”
So if “For Your Entertainment” fails to sell, Adam can always do Queen. How cool would that be?
