Demi Lovato recently opened up for her 20/20 interview which is set to air on Friday. She talked of binging and purging, as well as her continued cutting. Little tidbits from the interview have been trickling out and this time we’ve got her talking about leaving the Jonas Brothers tour, along with punching Alex Welch.

On Jonas Brothers’ Camp Rock Tour issues: ‘I was performing concerts on an empty stomach. I was losing my voice from purging. I was self-medicating. I was not taking medication for depression, and I literally was so emotionally whacked out that I took it out on someone that meant a lot to me.’

On punching Alex Welch in the face: ‘I take 100 percent, full responsibility. I feel horrible. [She] was my friend.’ Demi on rehab treatment: ‘For the first time in my life, I started to feel.. A picture of my little sister, on my little bulletin board, was one of the main things that kept me going. I just kept thinking, ‘OK, set this example for your little sister. The real reason why I’m sitting down with you,” she said, “is to open up the eyes of so many young girls, that it doesn’t have to be this way.’

I’m glad that she is now in a position to come out of this with flying colors in addition to helping many young girls. Good for her.

According to the magazine and what we’ve already known, Demi got into trouble after someone informed her managers that she was partying. The magazine says:

For Demi, feeling like one of her closest friends had betrayed her brought back all the memories of frenemies who had turned on her in middle school. “I was so scared from not being able to trust anyone”, she says. Now, so much more was at stake — Demi’s fans wanted her to be happy and keep blasting positive tweets from the road, the audiences in South America needed her to put on a smile and shine onstage, and she felt like the whole world was counting on her to set a perfect example. “I have all this energy and I can’t put my thoughts to rest”, she told J-14. “Sometimes I find myself not being able to sleep at night.”

So it was basically just because of all of the pressure she felt and bad memories??

Alex Welch, the girl that was allegedly punched in the face by Disney starlet Demi Lovato, says that she hopes Demi will get better.

In a recent interview, Alex said, “Everything is done”, adding that she hopes Demi “gets better”.

We hope she gets the help that she needs and is able to move on from the issues that are troubling her.

This photo was reportedly leaked over the summer and it looks like Alex Welch is also in the photo. That’s the girl that is suing Demi for punching her in the face on tour with the Jonas Brothers.

Alex Welch has opened up about the assault she suffered at the hands of Disney starlet Demi Lovato — and the details aren’t pretty!

She finally spoke out for the first time, five weeks after the incident. She said, “To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing. That’s sad if you think that person is your friend.”

A spy close to Demi said that “Demi hasn’t been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment, but multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her.”

Alex said that before the flight, Demi was upset because “she had gotten in trouble” for her alleged parting the night before. She was ratted out by someone on her tour and suspected Alex of telling on her to their tour managers. Alex said that Demi “pulled the dancers in a room and threatened, ‘If I find out who told on me…’”

Alex said that she wasn’t worried about it because she wasn’t a witness to the reported partying and wasn’t the one who squealed on her. She said, “I felt, honestly, I didn’t say anything and didn’t think twice about it.”

She explains, “We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a ‘Hey, you got a problem with me’, nothing. And she walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat. No one should walk up and do that and brush it over, it’s not right.”

Right after, Demi left for treatment. Her spokesperson said, “Demi feels awful about what happened. Right now, she is one hundred percent committed to her treatment.”

Alex’s attorney is waiting on a response from Demi, otherwise, they are going to take legal action. The lawyer, Donald Karpel, said, “We have contacted the Lovato camp and we are waiting for a response. If we don’t hear back, we will pursue litigation.”

Demi’s spokesperson said, “We are in the process of engaging with Alex’s lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
