Even though Robert Pattinson is dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, he’s had to lock lips with Christina Ricci for their new movie, Bel Ami. This movie actually looks way better than Twilight, in my humble opinion — so I’m excited to see it. Rob romances wealthy women in the flick, but he’s obviously just playing dirty.

Now, Christina is kissing and telling! She said that she found him “lovely” to work with because they share a similar sense of humor. She said, “Everyone keeps asking me how it is to kiss Robert. He’s a good kisser. And I’m not being nice. It’s just like that. He’s always the kind of guy that you can look at and go, ‘Oh God, this is uncomfortable’. And he’s really lovely to work with, especially in those kinds of scenes because he’s so quick to laugh at himself — and me. He’s very self-deprecating, as am I.”

Did you think any actors really come out and say that their co-stars suck at kissing? Of course they’re always saying that their counterparts are good kissers. What I like about Robert is that he always finds a way to make fun of his characters. He did it with Edward Cullen, dissing the vamp every step of the way. Will he do the same with his role as Georges Duroy?

Robert Pattinson said that he loved playing the role of the ruthless womanizer in his new movie, Bel Ami, because it was so much different than his role in the Twilight films.

He jumped at the chance of playing the womanizing role and was thrilled for the opportunity to play Georges Duroy. His character beds characters played by Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristen Scott Thomas.

In his interview with The Herald, he said, “There are lots of attractive women in the film. Christina Ricci, Uma Thuman and Kristen Scott Thomas….And I sleep with all of them!”

He went on to say, “The thing that stands out in the story in Bel Ami is just his behavior – the women that he manages to screw over are all attracted to him to begin with and so he starts having affairs with them and destroys their lives afterwards. That’s kind of nuts.”

He said that the role was fun because it’s the exact opposite of his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga. He said, “My Bel Ami guy doesn’t have a conscience. Most fictional characters are driven by some target, but he like a reverse character. He’s so content to do nothing and thinks everything should just be given to him. But if someone slights him, or directs any insult at him, the most overwhelming energy grabs him and he turns into this absolute devil who will do anything. With Bel Ami, I guess there is something quite fun about going from Edward Cullen to playing a guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them. Edward so wouldn’t approve! So, yes, I thought that was a funny irony. But the story, independently, is great, and I only thought about the irony afterwards.”

He added, “Doing something like Twilight opens doors and it closes others. You can say, ‘Of if I was still unknown, then no one would judge me’, but at the same time, nobody would give a s**t either. It’s a weird little balance. And, most of the time, you are just completely guessing what people do, so I suppose doing scripts that you think are good is the way to go. And that’s what I thought about Bel Ami.”

We’ve been hearing so much about Robert Pattinson’s new movie, Bel Ami, that we thought the trailer would never get here! But, alas, we’ve got the saucy video right here!

After suffering a few setbacks, we’ve got the official trailer for the movie, as well as its release date.

From the movie’s description, Rob plays a womanizing social climber by the name of Georges Duroy. He’s a journalist who sleeps with powerful women to get all the way to the top of the social ladder.

Rob previously commented on getting naked for the role, saying, “I think there’s a lot of my crack in it. I think there’s quite a bit of nudity.”

He revealed, “It was such a strange story. I think it will turn out to be very interesting, but I have no idea about any of it yet.”

The movie is set for theatrical release on October 19, 2011. Will you go see it??? What did you think of the trailer? Hot, right?

Robert Pattinson will draw fans to theaters because of his role as vampire Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga. The only problem is that it’s causing a bit of trouble for his newest movie, Bel Ami.

You see, in Bel Ami, Rob plays a womanizer who sleeps his way up the social ladder. And since Edward is such a sparkly vampire nice guy, Bel Ami’s executives are worried that he will alienate his current fan base of Twi-hards.

In a recent interview, Rob said, “We were really true to the book and because the guy is basically a sh*t who wins everything at the end, it’s really difficult to market it — especially with me in it. Everyone’s worried that everyone’s going to be thinking, ‘Oh I want him to be nice, he’s got to be nice to all the ladies.’”

I’m not. I’m tired of seeing him play some sparkling vampire twit. I want to see him break out of his shell, because Edward isn’t doing anything for me. Try again, Sparklepants.

I would’ve thought something about this photo shoot would’ve been leaked, but the publication kept mum on its cover star. Now to the good part! Is he naked in the magazine?!?!?

Nope, say insiders. He’s actually wearing a nice tuxedo for the entire shoot. Not fair. Still, if you want to see Rob nude, look no further than his upcoming movie, Bel Ami.

He said, “I think there’s quite a bit of nudity. I think there’s a lot of my crack in it!”

Well, not so eloquently put, Rob, but us ladies will take what we can get!

Christina Ricci worked with Twilight star Robert Pattinson on their new movie, Bel Ami. The two play lovers in the movie and during her promotion of the movie, she made an appearance on the Rachael Ray Show. She commented about how she made out with the actor and said that he’s a good kisser.

Here’s a first look at Robert Pattinson in a new promotional still for his upcoming movie, Bel Ami. It’s quite a different time period and circumstance for the actor, who has made a name for himself as Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies.

I can’t wait to see this movie. Of course, I’m not an angsty twelve-year-old Twi-hard, either. Hopefully this role will have more substance for Rob.
