I had no idea that John Mayer was such a fan of “The Bachelor”, but apparently that’s how he’s been spending his free time. During a recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, John revealed that he is absolutely obsessed with the reality show. After a friend nudged him to follow the show and give it a chance, he said that he caved in and began watching as Brad Womack tried to find love.

He said, “I don’t even feel like it’s my fault for liking it. It’s not a guilty pleasure. It’s designed to be a pleasure. It’s like a producer’s game. I wouldn’t be as excited to meet a cast member as I’d be to meet the guy who cuts that show. They have to ask someone like Ben like, ‘Okay, Ben, we need you to walk out on the balcony without a shirt and just think.’”

After doing an impression of Ben Flajnik, Ellen asked his opinion on the last season’s winner, Courtney Robertson. He said, “There was nothing you could say to Ben to not pick Courtney. Girls were coming up to him, like, ‘I watched Courtney rip somebody’s face off.’ And he’d go, ‘I’ll take that under consideration.’”

Ellen asked, “What if they come to you and say, ‘Would you be the Bachelor?’” He responded, “It’s one of those things where I would waste their time taking a meeting, just so I could hear more about it. Ultimately I’d say no. But I would just have to take the meeting.”

“The Bachelor” season 16 star Ben Flajnik has gotten engaged to his girlfriend, model Courtney Robertson on the season finale of the show. That, however, does not mean that they are in any hurry to walk down the aisle together. Are you surprised?

The happy reality TV couple were in Las Vegas this week hanging out at Pure Nightclub, but that doesn’t mean they wanted to tie the knot in Sin City while they were there. Robertson said, “My dad texted me and was like, ‘You better not be getting married in Vegas!’ And I was like, ‘Oh no, no.’”

Flajnik said, “We love Vegas, but we are not getting married here.”

After the show’s finale, it seems that things are going well for the duo. Robertson said, “It’s good”, with Flajnik revealing, “I would not have proposed to her if I didn’t see a future with her. It was a leap of faith thinking I could spend the rest of my life with this person.”

Flajnik also talked about his future with the model, saying, “We have not discussed children. We have talked about a lot, but our first step is moving in together.”

Robertson said, “After a year of being together, then we will be able to see where we want to go.” Flajnik said, “We are both smart people, and we realized that we rushed into this thing, so we are going to take our time.”

He said, “We’re still in the early stages so we’re learning a lot about each other, spending as much time with each other. We’re slowly acclimating our lives together and our friends together. It’s going really well.”

In a new interview, Ben said, “We’re still getting to know each other and taking it slow. Things are working out really well.”

Courtney said that she is still learning a lot about her new fiancee. She said, “It’s nice to see him in social settings and with his family. He is the life of the party. He’s got this great personality.”

She also revealed that he “hates bananas”, while she “loves them.”

He said, “She’s got me drinking those things”, which he’s referring to her drink of choice, Kombucha.

As to whether or not there is a wedding in their future anytime soon, Ben said, “We’re not even there yet.”

Courtney added, “We’re just enjoying each other.”

Staying together for the fame and spotlight — that sounds like a Kardashian thing. Hmm…

Last month, Ben Flajnik chose Courtney Robertson over Lindzi Cox on The Bachelor. It wasn’t shocking, considering that he was basically fawning all over her for the entire season of the show. What was shocking to us was how she got away with treating the other women like crap. Once Ben learned of her behavior, he broke things off for a few months, just so he wouldn’t have to deal with the negativity. They have since gotten back together and are engaged.

Ben felt the need to introduce Courtney to his friends, which is a move that he was anxious about. They obviously are moving into serious territory now. A source said, “He said Courtney’s visit went well and all his friends loved her. They apparently think she is great.”

Courtney said that meeting all of Ben’s friends was scary and that she was anxious about the whole thing.

But it appears that Ben has trusted Courtney enough to take things to the next level, as he has introduced her to his female friends. That is a big move considering their past. According to Celebrity News and Style, Ben admitted at a recent event that the couple is taking things slow and just trying to have the best time. But that doesn’t mean that it was an easy event to meet Ben’s friend. Even Ben was anxious about Courtney meeting his friends.

I’m still skeptical that she is dating him for real. Why would a model go for a dork like Ben? Can’t she do better?

She said on the special that she doesn’t trust Ben completely. Apparently those feelings were short-lived because she believes that he didn’t cheat on her.

In her first interview after the finale, she said “it was upsetting” seeing the photos, but insisted “at the end of the day, if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t be with him, period.”

She revealed, “Here’s the thing: I have a lot of platonic guy friends and Ben knows that. But I was very careful after the show wrapped not to get too close to them in public or put myself in a situation where a photo could be taken and something could be misconstrued.”

She went on to say, “Ben just didn’t have his guard up the way I did. He has a lot of female friends and he’s a playful, flirty guy who likes to party with everyone. I get that about him and I’m completely fine with it. He’s a really warm and social person. But he became a target. The tabloids hired people to follow him everywhere, just waiting for the chance to snap a photo of anything they could to make it look like he was doing something shady. I think you can take a photo and make it look like anything if you really want to.”

I became worried about staying in a relationship that had so much negativity surrounding it, so I eventually called off the engagement and we broke up.”

You would think that’s a good move for him, right? Perhaps then he could quite possibly salvage something with the nicer woman, Lindzi.

He added, “Fortunately, that breakup didn’t last long. The love I feel for her, love that I couldn’t deny even amidst all the bad press and lack of public support, brought me back to her.”

Even though the official season 14 cast announcement has already been made, it wouldn’t be the first time that someone has been added afterward, right?

The show’s host, Chris Harrison asked Ben about the rumors that he was photographed kissing other women. Ben denied that he was cheating on Courtney and said that there was no one else.

Us Weekly reveals that Ben never stopped chasing other women. In addition to that, Courtney faked her tearful apology during the final show. Of course she did, the network was trying to make America like her. We weren’t buying it one bit!

Of course — here’s the kicker — there’s another woman already! So apparently their relationship is really doomed this time. Why keep up the ruse?

She has denied the baby and marriage rumors on countless occasions. But apparently Life & Style wants their readers to believe that they’ve got the inside scoop on what Jen and Justin are planning for their lives.

On last night’s season 16 finale of The Bachelor, we got to see the show’s star, Ben Flajnik choose between Lindzi Cox and Courtney Robertson. Is December of 2011, Reality Steve spoiled the entire season of the show, so it really wasn’t a surprise to see Ben choose Courtney. All in all, the show dragged on and on and was pretty boring. Ben’s mother and sister went to Switzerland so that they could meet Ben’s potential fiancees. Lindzi was up to bat first and the meeting went down without a hitch. Ben’s mother and sister liked her and found her to be quite genuine. What we didn’t understand is why they both had so many reservations (rightfully so) about Courtney, yet it didn’t seem to matter. Don’t tell us this show is scripted!

After the long drawn out family meetings and last dates, we got to hear about how Ben has fallen in love with both of these women. He blathered on about how he was confused to the point where it started to feel like a snoozefest.

At the very end, we saw Ben break Lindzi’s heart and ask Courtney to marry him. She was elated and said yes, but we’re still not sure what Ben was thinking. She was mean and nasty to the other women on the show for the entire season, yet it’s all forgiven because she’s a model?

After the show, we recapped the After The Final Rose special and learned a few new things about Courtney and Ben. Apparently they had broken up due to all of the negativity. Ben proposed again and she accepted once more. Both were all teary-eyed by the show’s end, which leads us to believe that this might be real life…? Oh wait, nevermind, it’s just reality television.

Were you surprised to see Ben pick Courtney? Hopefully Lindzi will make it to a future season of The Bachelorette. At least that way something good can come from something not so good, right?

She wasn’t wearing an engagement ring and said that she couldn’t ever trust Ben again completely. She reveals tonight that Ben dumped her manipulative self three months after proposing in November. Ben and Courtney were said to have reconciled recently.

Courtney said that she felt abandoned when Ben broke things off around February 7th. She said, “I had bad days where I stayed in bed and cried.”

Ben joins Courtney on stage where he said that he wants to try again to make their relationship work. He said, “In the last couple of weeks we’ve been able to talk.”

After the broken engagement, Ben presents Courtney with a new engagement ring and asks her to marry him again. He tells her, “I’m going to be there for you forever.”

The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has discussed Ben Flajnik’s season on the show and says that it has “its own feel”. As you may already know, the show’s season sixteen finale airs tonight and the host said that the show could be summed as “edgy, controversial and definitely not warm and fuzzy.”

What’s not warm and fuzzy about Courtney Robertson’s shenanigans in order to win the show?

He said, “It doesn’t compare at all to other seasons. It’s more competitive, darker and has raised a lot of debate and outrage from viewers. Ben was taken aback by the public outcry and the anger he’s faced. The Courtney thing was not easy for him to endure.”

Still, the host revealed that the season has been a real chance for Ben to find love. He said, “For him to go through so much trouble and pain, unless he’s a masochist, definitely leads me to believe he wants to find love. A lesser guy – or a guy who didn’t care – would have checked out a long time ago. But he fought like hell the entire time and ended up with a final two he really connected with and cared about.”
