Taylor Swift Unamused By New York Concert Cancellation
by Jeffrey Noble on Jun.10, 2011, under articles

Taylor Swift is not happy about her concert getting canceled. She was really excited to perform with the Black Eyed Peas. Unlucky for her, they did not want to perform with her. It was canceled at the last minute due to stormy weather.
If I where the Black Eyed Peas and I just got the message that the concert was canceled, I’d be like, ‘thank god I don’t have to work with that teenage brat.’
She writes to her disappointed fans, “I was like ‘I get to sing with Fergie in Nyc?!’ and then there was rain and lightning and they’re like ‘It’s cancelled’ and I was like :-( (sad).” So much for charity.
Bedingfield was also unhappy with the cancellation of the concert because he was supposed to perform. He went to twitter and said that it was “chucking down” and said that New York “feels likes London.”
Zach Braff was one of the people who was most disappointed. He posted a picture of himself dressed in a smart suit and said, “Concert in Central Park canceled for rain. All dressed up and no one to introduce.”
Fergie defends Christina Aguilera over botched Super Bowl performance
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.07, 2011, under articles

Even though Fergie’s half-time performance sucked a huge one at the Super Bowl yesterday, she’s coming out in defense of failed National Anthem singer, Christina Aguilera!
In a new interview on the Dan Patrick Show today, Fergie said not to pick on Christina, because she’s only human! She also didn’t have the words to describe what Will.I.Am was wearing on his head!
She said that Christina might have been plagued by nerves and that she’s one of the best singers of our time. And she even called her own performance “pitchy” at times.
What did you think of the performances? Were you impressed or “blah” about them? Let us know in the comments!
The Black Eyed Peas’ Super Bowl half-time show – video
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.06, 2011, under articles

The Black Eyed Peas really put on some kind of show for the Super Bowl tonight. And I’m trying to be kind here, but I don’t know how that’s going to work out for me.
The show was obviously all about the special effects and everything, but the performance was just really OFF. Watch the grainy footage of the half-time show below and let us know what you think.
It looks like Christina Aguilera wasn’t the only one messing things up tonight. What do you think?
UPDATE: Embedded the official Super Bowl XLV 2011 halftime show. You’re um.. welcome? Personal observation: this is what a halftime show should look like.
Will.I.Am denies Black Eyed Peas breakup rumors
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.26, 2010, under articles

Rumors were flying that Fergie was set to break away from the Black Eyed Peas. Reportedly, she and Will.I.Am had been having arguments and Fergie was saying that she wanted to start a family with husband, Josh Duhamel.
Will took to his official Twitter account to talk about the rumors. He tweeted, “Don’t belive gossip about fergie leaving the group (we are never breaking up) its all lies!!!”
Are you glad they’re not breaking up? I wish Fergie would do another solo album, though, because Big Girls Don’t Cry is still my favorite song by her.

by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.25, 2010, under articles
The NRJ Awards announced the winner of their award for Best International Group to the Black Eyed Peas to thunderous applause. When the announcer realized their mistake, they announced the real winner of the award, Tokio Hotel.
The group took to the stage to a bunch of boos, but the host said of their mishap, “It happens!”
I was getting a little bit of sick of the Peas anyways. Weren’t you?

Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas is speaking out against verbal and physical abuse and basically states that he does not, nor has ever, condoned any type of violence.

No one deserves that…Everyone needs to be respected…

It’s round two (or three?) in the battle between celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas. More specifically, Lavandeira is now suing the Peas’ manager, Polo Molina, in a civil suit filed today.
Lavandeira is suing for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking unspecified damages in excess of $25,000. Last night on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, the Black Eyed Peas performed their song, “I Gotta Feeling”.
I do not know what’s up with Fergie’s dress, she looks like she’s sporting a baby bump. Either that or she’s constantly looking bloated. And that part in that hairstyle isn’t doing her any favors, either. (continue reading…)
