Right after learning that Whitney Houston had died, her former husband Bobby Brown took to the stage to perform for his fans. Now, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, he has defended his decision to perform that day. He said that the only reason that he still performed because it’s what Whitney would have wanted.

He was scheduled to perform at the Landers Center in Mississippi on February 11th, but refused to cancel the show in order to grieve for Whitney. He was scrutinized by Whitney’s fans for continuing on with the show, despite her untimely passing on the same day.

In a new interview with Ellen on Wednesday, he said that he tried his best to get to Los Angeles the day of Whitney’s death, but performed instead out of respect for the iconic singer. He said, “I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do, but it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would want me to do was perform.”

He went on to say, “You know, we are performers. That’s what we did. That’s what we do. And she would want the best for me.”

Bobby Brown doesn’t want the blame laid upon him for getting his former wife Whitney Houston on drugs. Right after she passed away, her throngs of fans started pointing the finger at Bobby for leading her down the path of self-destructive behavior. In a new interview with Matt Lauer, Bobby said that the accusations made him feel terrible.

He told the “Today” host, “But you know, I know differently. I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us…they would know how we felt about each other. They would know how happy we were together.”

He also spoke of their reality show saying, “The reality show gave us a wake up. We were able to see that our drug use had affected our relationship, had affected the love that we felt for each other.”

The singer isn’t taking any responsibility for introducing Whitney to drugs. He revealed, “I didn’t get high before I met Whitney.” He copped to smoking weed and drinking alcohol prior to their meeting, but denies getting Whitney involved in her long-term drug issues. He said, “I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all”, adding that she had used drugs “way before” they met. He

But the “My Prerogative” singer tells Lauer it’s inaccurate to say that he introduced Houston to drugs. In fact, he says, “I didn’t get high before I met Whitney,” he says. Although he says he smoked “weed” and drank alcohol before he met the “Greatest of All” singer, “I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all,” he says, adding that Houston used drugs “way before” she met him. “It’s just unexplainable . . . I’m not the reason she’s gone.”

Of Whitney, he said, “I love that woman with everything that I am. And I believe she loved me the same way. We wouldn’t have been able to make the most beautiful girl in the world – without love. And that’s the truth.”

When he last saw Whitney a week before her untimely passing, he said, “She had this glow about her that was just, you know, incredible. She looked really well. She just looked like she was in a good place.”

Now that Whitney Houston is gone, it appears that her ex-husband Bobby Brown wants to issue some sort of tell all so that he can collect some cash from her memory. Ugh, this twit.

Bobby appears on the latest cover of the National Enquirer in their world exclusive. Apparently he’s revealing the truth about what went on with his relationship with the songbird. People like him will do anything just to cash in, won’t they? Let’s crap all over the memory of a beloved singer just for the almighty dollar? Nevermind the fact that she was your daughter’s mother. Ugh.

Did they have a secret second marriage? Not only that, but the tabloid is also making the claim that Bobby and Whitney a steamy week together before her death. If that were even remotely true, then he could have possibly shown enough respect for her to sit through her entire funeral — instead of leaving after only 20 minutes. Making matters worse is the fact that he performed in concert later that same night.

I don’t doubt that Bobby is trying to sell out his stories of his time spent with Whitney for the highest bidder. Do you? Poor Bobbi Kristina, I feel for her. Let’s hope for her sake that the rumors are not true.

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown doesn’t seem to want anything to do with her father following her mother’s untimely passing. To that end, she wants to undergo a name change to disassociate herself from Bobby.

Reportedly, Bobbi Kristina has been telling her friends for the longest time that she’s wanted to change her name. Ever since Whitney and Bobby divorced, she has wanted to forgo the “Bobbi” and the “Brown” in her name, thus changing it completely. According to TMZ, Whitney wouldn’t let her daughter change her name. Now that Whitney is gone, Bobbi Kristina can do as she likes.

To honor her mother’s memory, she wants to change her name to Kristina Houston. What do you think of her plans to change her name? Do you think that it’s a good idea to wash her hands completely of her father? It’s obvious that he has influenced Whitney’s life in a negative way, so perhaps this is a new leaf for Bobbi Kristina? According to the Houston family lawyer, Mark G. Trigg, Bobby Brown knew all about the seating arrangement prior to entering the church for former wife, Whitney Houston’s funeral. The attorney also revealed that Bobby broke an agreement not to contact his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown — unless she reached out to him first.

In case you’ve missed it, Bobby was said to have caused a bit of a fuss during the service and left after only 20 minutes.

The lawyer revealed that Bobby agreed to sit in front with Whitney’s family, while three of his other children would sit further back with their uncle. This was all made clear to Bobby when he accepted the family’s invitation to the funeral service. He had also agreed not to approach Bobbi Kristina, [nicknamed Krissy], unless she made the first move.

Trigg said, “Our agreement prior to the service was that if Krissy reached out to Bobby, if she tried…to initiate any contact with him, security was certainly going to make sure that happened and would not stand in the way of her reaching Bobby if she initiated the contact.”

Trigg went on to reveal, “What was asked of him however was that if Krissy didn’t initiate that contact for whatever reason, with whatever was going on in her head and heart and spirit, that day, if she didn’t initiate the contact, then he was not to reach out for her. Just to respect her and her wishes during the service. That was the agreement.”

During the service, Trigg said, Bobby tried to seek Bobbi’s intervention with the seating arrangement. Trigg added, “And when he went to interact with her, that’s when security said we would ask you please go to your seat. Please have your children sit with their uncle, and let’s not have any unnecessary drama here. That’s the point where he, for whatever reason, decided that he wanted to just leave the service. So he got with his three children, went up and kissed the casket and they walked out of the service.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown was urged by family to check herself into rehab even before Whitney Houston’s funeral on Sunday. Multiple sources have revealed that the night after Whitney passed away, Bobbi Kristina was trying to numb the pain with drugs.

Last year, Bobbi Kristina checked into rehab for a drug problem, according to a family friend. Now, we are just hoping that she doesn’t go down the same path as her mother.

Reportedly, she arrived in New Jersey right before her mother’s body was flown in and was said to be dealing with things a little better. A source said, “She had the people she loved and love her the most around. Ms. Cissy was holding on tight and watching her every move.”

Things got worse when her father showed up to the funeral service with nine people in tow. Security allowed them all in, but had to seat them separately. Reportedly, security wouldn’t allow him to see his daughter, so he complained.

A source at the funeral said, “That was just too much for Bobbi Kristina to handle. All that drama, and Cissy finally asked to come in and stay, but Bobby wouldn’t. Cissy only did that to help Bobbi Kristina, because Cissy cannot stand Bobby. She just didn’t want a big drama with him on that day of all days.”

A few hours after the funeral, Bobbi Kristina was said to be at a hotel getting high. Family members wanted her to check herself into rehab, but others said it would give her closure to attend the burial service on Sunday.

The family friend added, “It’s a horrible situation for everybody. They tried to save Whitney, and it didn’t work. Now with Bobbi Kristina, they fear the same thing is happening again and they won’t be able to stop it either. Bobbi Kristina is all Ms. Cissy has left of Whitney. She’s so tired, but she’s ready to fight again to save her grandbaby.”

Whitney Houston’s funeral had just started and Bobby Brown has already been booted from the church. Bobby was seen on his way into the funeral but, his SUV returned a brief time after. Rev. Al Sharpton tweeted minutes ago, “I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!” Bobby is such a selfish jerk.

He was kicked out of the funeral after he got into a word feud with the family over whether or not he could bring nine people to the funeral with him. Bobby was invited and he could bring only two people. Can’t he count?

Instead of two, he brought a posse of nine people. Bobby was salty after he learned that he wasn’t allowed to bring all of those people. He wanted to sit next to his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, but her entire family would not have it. The reverend tried to stop him from making a scene and not disrupt the peace at the funeral, but he was seen leaving the funeral moments after.

Whitney Houston’s entire family wants Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney’s daughter, to go to a rehab center. They are waiting until after Whitney’s funeral to break the news to her about their wishes.

According to Bobbi’s family, she has abused drugs for a long three to four years. The family found a professional 60-day live-in rehab home for her, where she will learn how to function in society without drugs. Bobby has been in the hospital twice after her mom’s death and the family does not want the same thing to happen to her. They are being tasteful about the funeral situation, though, in allowing her time for mourning. The family is giving her time to mourn the loss of her mother right before the funeral and directly after.

As of now it is uncertain if she will listen to her family’s advice. If she does decide to go she will get over her drug problem and not end up following in her mother’s footsteps. Let’s hope that Bobbi Kristina can get her act together before it is too late.

Wow! Now that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina has been busted for doing cocaine last week, we’ve learned that she has a sex tape, as well!

We have not seen the tape, nor will we allow any links to said tape, primarily because it’s very likely that she was underage when it was made.

MediaTakeOut claims that they were approached by a guy trying to sell them the tape featuring Bobbi and an ex-boyfriend of hers. The tape was said to be “freaky” and “explicit”.

For the record, she is 18 now, but because we have not and will not view the footage, we cannot comment on her age at the time of filming. But still! Is she trying to go the same route to fame as Montana Fishburne?

This “Celebrity Fit Club” crap made its debut on VH1 last night and we got the chance to get up close and personal with Kevin Federline’s blubber. Not that we wanted to.

Also towing the fat for the show is his ex, Shar Jackson, along with Whitney Houston reject, Bobby Brown and former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach.
