Castle Review: Season 4 Episode 12 ‘Dial M For Mayor’
by Lydia Harris on Jan.17, 2012, under articles

Last night’s episode of Castle could very well have spelled the end of the partnership between Castle and Beckett. The episode was titled Dial M For Mayor and it pitted the crimefighting and writing duo against each other. The mayor was sought for a possible murder — something that Castle was adamantly protesting throughout the show. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our full recap here.
The mayor came under fire when a murdered woman was found in a car that was used last by him. The mayor denied ever knowing the victim, but in the end it was revealed that it was assistant who killed the victim. Either way, it prompted the mayor to drop out of the race for Governor.
Castle is once again vindicated, even though it was obvious that he couldn’t stay biased within the investigation. The mayor maintained his innocence, but refused to turn over his cashmere coat for testing of its fibers.
Rick is still able to work in the precinct to watch over Kate, which seems to be the mystery guy’s motive. Who else would be able to make sure Kate doesn’t stumble into something that would get her hurt? Besides that, when are they going to grow closer to one another and finally start dating?
What did you think of Dial M For Mayor? Sound off in the comments!
Castle Recap: Season 4 Episode 12 ‘Dial M For Mayor’ 1/16/12
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

Tonight’s episode of Castle is all new at 10PM EST on ABC! This episode is titled, Dial M For Mayor and could pit Kate and Rick against each other. In case you’ve missed last week’s episode, titled, Till Death Do Us Part, you can read our full recap of the show here.
Episode synopsis:
Derek Webster (“Desperate Housewives,” “Damages”) guest stars as Mayor Robert Weldon, Castle’s longtime friend and the Mayor of New York City. It was Mayor Weldon’s political clout that allowed Castle to partner up with Beckett. But now, when a woman is found dead in a car that traces back to the Mayor’s motor pool, that partnership comes under fire as the scandal surrounding the investigation threatens to bring down Weldon’s administration.
Obviously, since Rick had the mayor on his side, he was able to use his experiences with the precinct and Kate for inspiration in his Nikki Heat books. But since the mayor is coming under fire for a homicide, that could jeopardize his working relationship with Kate. Nothing spells trouble like murder — Castle style!
We will be covering the show live tonight as it airs — so stay tuned and keep refreshing for the latest up-to-the-minute coverage!

Castle Preview: Dial M For Mayor (Spoilers, Video & Synopsis)
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

Tonight is an all new episode of Castle, titled, Dial M For Mayor. This one appears to be the episode that could quite possibly drive a wedge between our dynamic duo, Rick Castle and Kate Beckett.
When a dead woman ends up in the Mayor’s car, Kate does the obvious and suspects the Mayor. Rick, however, is biased and doesn’t think his friend would do such a thing.
We all know that the entire reason that Rick is working with the precinct and with Kate is because of his affiliation with the Mayor, so this could be the end of Caskett….or could it?
Synopsis:
“Derek Webster (Desperate Housewives, Damages) guest stars as Mayor Robert Weldon, Castle’s longtime friend and the Mayor of New York City. It was Mayor Weldon’s political clout that allowed Castle to partner up with Beckett. But now a woman is found dead in a car that traces back to the mayor’s motor pool, and that partnership comes under fire as the scandal surrounding the investigation .
Sneak peek videos:
Promo:
Castle’s creator, Andrew W, Marlowe, said, “The stakes are enormous. If something happens to the mayor, Castle is not going to be able to continue his partnership with Beckett.”
Captain Gates also wants to keep Castle as far away from the case as possible, because he obviously cannot be objective at all. She tells Beckett to confront the mayor and do her job, no matter the cost.
Stana Katic said, “It’s a conflicted case for Beckett. She knows that the mayor is valuable in keeping Castle in the precinct, but at the same time she doesn’t want anyone who’s committed murder to get away with it. She won’t compromise her sense of right and wrong.”
Stay tuned, we’ll be providing our official recap when the show airs at 10PM EST on ABC, right after The Bachelor.
Castle Review: ‘Till Death Do Us Part’
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.10, 2012, under articles

If you were as excited as we were for the return of our favorite crime fighting and writing duo, then you must have seen all of the tension between Rick Castle and Kate Beckett last night on Castle!
In case you’ve missed out on the best episode of the year so far, you can check out our recap of the show at this link. This post obviously contains spoilers, so avert your eyes if you have yet to see the show.
Last night’s episode was titled, Till Death Do Us Part and at the end, we got to see tidbits of Kevin’s wedding to Jenny. What threatened Kevin’s wedding was the fact that their murder victim, Michael Bailey, had a journal of conquests — and her picture was in it. What made that worse was the fact that she was dating Kevin at the time.
It was a twist, that’s for sure! But, alas, Jenny told Kevin the low-down on the romp and he seemed pretty okay with it. In fact, he told the gang that they weren’t exclusive at the time.
And in the end, Kate and Rick went to the wedding as each other’s plus one. We didn’t actually find out what happened to Kate’s date, but do we really care?!? They were together AND holding hands!
The funniest part of the episode was Rick asking Kate for her “number” — as if she’d tell him that! Men. What was your favorite part of last night’s show? Sound off in the comments, we wanna know.
Stay tuned, the Earsucker and Tragicomical teams will be providing you with the best Castle coverage out there — every week!
Castle Recap Season 4 Episode 11 ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ 1/9/12
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.09, 2012, under articles

Tonight is an all new episode of Castle! We’ve been waiting for what seems like forever for the show to return from its hiatus! Tonight’s episode is titled, Til Death Do Us Part — and we’ll get to see more of the pent up tension between Rick and Kate! The show airs at 10PM EST on ABC.
We gave you a preview of the show earlier, so you can check that out while you wait.
I’m guessing that the murder victim was one of Jenny’s ex-boyfriends. This might be the catalyst in Rick and Kate’s conversation about how many people they’ve hooked up with. Castle wants her number! But will she tell him?
And of course, tonight’s episode centers around Kevin’s wedding to Ryan, hopefully giving Kate and Rick something to look forward to in their lives.
Stay tuned, we’ll be recapping the show live, as it airs! Keep refreshing for the up-to-the-minute scoop on our favorite show!
Will Rick and Kate ever take their relationship to the next level? Are you getting tired of waiting for them to figure it out? Four seasons worth of tension, let’s just hope that they’re building up to something pretty awesome for the show. Do Rick and Kate need to make it official?
RECAP:
The show starts off with a man hitting on a girl over a fruit stand when a guy crashes through the table. At the precinct, Jenny brought Ryan his water bottle and they’re super cute and in love. Lanie is bringing a plus one to the wedding. Esposito is upset that Lanie is already dating someone else. Rick also RSVP’d for a plus one, but he’s bringing his daughter, Alexis. Kate looked jealous.
Esposito thinks Lanie is hooking up with her assistant. They go up to the eighth floor and Kevin tells them all about their victim, Michael Bailey. The room was booked by Jane Eyre and paid for in cash. Rick calls the woman a black widow. Kate found a fingerprint on a glass and she locates the woman who fled the crime scene, Holly Franklin. Kate shows him the picture of Michael, and he apparently gave her a fake name. She told him his name was Jake. She said that she was falling in love with him and didn’t kill him. They had just met tonight!?

by Lydia Harris on Jan.09, 2012, under articles

It’s been way too long, but Castle is finally back on television tonight at 10PM EST! I can’t wait!
This week’s episode, titled, Til Death Do Us Part, looks like a really good one. And from the preview, you can tell that there is a lot of pent up sexual tension between Rick and Kate.
Episode synopsis:
When a lothario is killed, Castle and Beckett suspect that the victim’s mysterious double life holds the key to his murder. Their investigation leads to a shocking twist that threatens to disrupt Ryan’s wedding with Jenny.
Check out the promo for tonight’s episode here. According to the spoilers for the show, we’ll get to see Rick’s secret come to light by the end of the season.
Does that mean Kate will find out that Rick is trying to keep her mother’s murder off of the table? She is likely to be super upset to learn that. Will Rick find out that Kate remembers everything when he told her that he loved her?
All of these questions and more will be answered by the end of the season. As far as tonight’s episode, we’ll be recapping it for you as the show airs. Stay tuned!
Castle ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ Sneak Peek Video & Spoilers!
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.05, 2012, under articles

In addition to the preview of next week’s episode of Castle, titled Til Death Do Us Part, we’ve also got a sneak peek! We’re getting excited for the show next Monday! Are you?
Things are apparently going to heat up between our favorite detective and writer! It’s these types of saucy exchanges that keep all of us Castle fans coming back for more.
Check out the sneak peek:
For the spoilers, we’ve got this handy little tidbit from TVLine:
Throughout the intensity of “Kill Shot” and the flirty fun of “Cuffed,” one can’t be blamed for forgetting that there are still a pair of potent secrets being kept — that Rick purposely waved Beckett off the unsolved mystery of her mother’s murder, and Kate remembers Rick’s season finale “I love you.” Castle’s secret “will resurface” by season’s end, series boss Andrew W. Marlowe tells me. And at the worst possible time, might we assume? “Well, we wouldn’t be dramatists if it came at the best time,” he answers with a wink. “And I will tell you that it will have an impact on their relationship.” Want a scooch more angst, Caskett ‘shippers? Well here it is: “Beckett’s secret might resurface even earlier,” Marlowe teases.
Won’t they just get together already?!!? What do you think??

Castle Season 4 Episode 11 ‘Till Death Do Us Part’ Spoilers (Photo)
by Lydia Harris on Dec.02, 2011, under articles

While we all anxiously await Monday’s Cuffed episode of Castle (Preview here), with all of its awkward and sweet cuteness, we’ve got some dish on the following episode. The eleventh episode of season four is titled, Till Death Do Us Part — and we’ve got some spoilers for Castle fans!
The episode was originally titled, Ryan’s Wedding, but has since undergone a name change. But, that basically gives away the premise of the show. Kevin and Jenny are getting married!
But that’s not all!
As we already know, Rick knows Mayor Weldon, as that’s the reason that he’s able to tail the police (ie: Kate) around on her daily file of cases. Well, apparently, he becomes the suspect of murder. Actress Stana Katic (Kate) said, “It’s a conflicted case for Beckett. She knows that the mayor is valuable in keeping Castle in the precinct, but at the same time she doesn’t want anyone who’s committed murder to get away with it. She won’t compromise her sense of right and wrong.”
Rick, of course, maintains that his friend is innocent, which would obviously create a conflict for Caskett. Stana revealed, “It’s his friend and he thinks he knows him. So they will stand on two different sides of the line. But the case is a little bit greyer for Beckett than for Castle, and she has to figure out what to do with the implicating information.”
I can’t wait! Until then, Castle’s Cuffed episode will air on ABC on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10PM EST.
Castle Season 4 Episode 10 ‘Cuffed’ Preview (Photos, Video)
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.29, 2011, under articles

As you already know, we’ve been watching this season of Castle, hoping and praying that Kate and Rick would finally get together. In last week’s episode, titled, Kill Shot, we saw Kate dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of her own shooting.
The episode centered around a sniper, going after targets who recently got some good news. In the show, it appeared that Rick and Kate grew even closer. Esposito helped a lot with Kate’s issues — with the gun that was used to shoot her. If you’ve missed the show, you can read our recap right here.
The new episode, titled, Cuffed, appears on ABC on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10PM EST. Here is the official synopsis:
When Castle and Beckett wake up in bed, handcuffed together, in a locked room with no memory of how they got there, they must piece together the mystery of where they are and why, all while trying to escape. But as the two of them adjust to being shackled together, what’s the biggest threat they face… the people who abducted them or each other? Meanwhile, Ryan, Esposito and Gates are left to investigate their disappearance in a case where all is not what it seems.
And a sneak peek:
The promo video:
Don’t you just love the look on her face when she realizes that she has just woken up next to Rick? Obviously, reality quickly sets in when they figure out that they have no phone, she has no weapon and they are cuffed to each other. He calls it “kinky” — in true Castle form!

Stana Katic, who plays Kate Beckett sounded off on tonight’s episode, saying, “We see a a different Beckett. We see somebody who’s not as in control as she has been in previous episodes. She’s dealing with something huge, something that a lot of people out there deal with — post-traumatic stress.”
She went on to reveal, “And from what I’ve read and discussed with people, that is something that is a problem but is not necessarily talked about and not necessarily admitted to, because the people that get it are often people in authority who have to keep the ball rolling. There’s no time to be off your game.”

Castle To Go After Kim Kardashian In New Episode?
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.15, 2011, under articles

According to TV Line, Castle might be taking aim at a new character who appears to be based on reality actress Kim Kardashian! I’m missing my Castle fix as much as the next person, so we’ll take our scoop whenever we can get it.
Sounds like Castle is about lampoon — or pay homage to? — Kim “72 Days” Kardashian. The show is casting the role of Kay Cappuccio, a charismatic reality-TV star “who has achieved significant fame and fortune without possessing any discernible skill or talent” and whose “knockout body have made her a favorite of tabloids and gossip sites the world over — one of which has placed a huge bounty on her booty.”
It’s totes KK, right? That’s what I thought, until I read the last sentence of the character descrip: “Kay both relishes this spotlight and at the same time feels like a prisoner of her own celebrity lifestyle — the result is a woman who is more complex than she might at first seem.” Complex?! Kim? Um, no, I think I had a cactus once that demonstrated greater depth than she ever has. And it had a bigger vocabulary, too.
Sounds like Kim to us, don’t you think? I can’t wait!

An all new episode of Castle will be airing next Monday, October 31st and we’ve got some spoilers for you from the episode, titled, Cops & Robbers.
When Castle and Martha are taken hostage by a crew of bank robbers dressed in hospital scrubs and using classic television doctor names (Trapper John M.D., Dr. Huxtable, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and Dr. Doogie Howser), Beckett finds herself on the outside, desperately trying to rescue them — which proves to be even more difficult with a by-the-book hostage negotiator (guest star Dean Norris, “Breaking Bad”) watching her every move.
Castle becomes the de facto leader of the hostages, which includes Barry Livingston (“My Three Sons”), and discovers that the robbery is actually a skillfully orchestrated distraction for an even more sinister plan. But with Castle stuck on the inside and Beckett on the outside, will either be able to foil the bank robbers’ plans before it is too late?

by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.17, 2011, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Castle, we’ll see Kate Beckett getting upset and/or jealous of Rick Castle’s new love interest, Serena Kaye, who is played by Kristin Lehman.
Kate obviously has feelings for Rick and for some reason, she doesn’t want to show it. She also knows exactly how Rick feels about her. So what’s going to happen when they add a new lady friend into the mix? How long will his relationship with Serena last? The writers on the show have not released the guest cast list for any of the upcoming episodes, so we’re wondering how permanent Serena is going to be?
We do know that Kate will once again be talking to her therapist, Dr. Carter Burke, as played by Michael Dorn. (ST: TNG nod nod wink wink)
Perhaps she’s struggling with the image of them kissing, in her head? She could take a leap and just tell him that she knows how he feels and that she feels the same! What do you think?
The show opened with a thief taking a valuable money sculpture from a museum. Afterward, the show cut to an art gallery. An assistant is walking into the back of the gallery and notices a bloody corpse nailed to a sculpture.
