Nicolas Cage has been arrested!

The actor is in New Orleans when he was charged with domestic abuse – batter and disturbing the peace at 6:33 in the morning.

Reportedly, the actor is still being held by the police, but we’ve heard no confirmation of that as of yet. Details surrounding his arrest are sparse.

Update: TMZ reports that Nic was so drunk in New Orleans that he actually dared police to arrest him. Check out the details:

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Nic was “very drunk” on the streets of N.O. when a cab driver saw him loudly arguing with his wife Alice.

We’re told the cabbie called the police and said in addition to the screaming and yelling … he saw Nic push her.

We’re told the police came and told Nic and his wife to just go home. That’s when Nic allegedly told cops, “Why don’t you just arrest me?” The cops then reiterated that he and his wife should just go home. Cage then repeated his dare to cops.

At that point, police took Nic into custody and charged him with …domestic abuse and disturbing the peace.

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood caused quite the fuss when she was caught on video beating the crap out of her baby’s father, Gary Shirley. Since, she was charged with two felonies surrounding the reported three assaults.

Today, she has been arrested and tossed in an Indiana jail! She’s currently being held for 24 hours and her bail is set at $5,000.

Sucks to be her. They have all of the proof that they need, though, don’t they?

Early Friday morning, Willie Nelson was arrested for possessing six ounces of marijuana.

He was on his tour bus on his way from California to Austin, Texas, when he was stopped by Sierra Blanca, Texas’ border patrol. He was arrested after authorities searched his bus and found the stash of pot.

He was bailed, to the tune of $2,500 and was on his way.

Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach was arrested in Ontario, Canada this morning after he threw a wine glass at the door of the bar he was hanging out at…then biting the owner of the establishment. Man, that must be some good wine!

Reportedly, he was hanging out at the bar and was asked to leave shortly after midnight. He then tried to take his glass of wine with him, but was advised he had to leave it. Instead of just handing it over, he allegedly tossed the glass at the door. When the owner of the bar tried to restrain him, he was said to have bit him on the left hand.

The staff of the bar held Sebastian until the cops came on the scene. He was found to have nearly two grams of marijuana on himself. He was charged with assault, possession of marijuana and mischief.

Russell Brand has been arrested after a reported scuffle with a paparazzi.

Russell was said to have pushed and struck the photographer, prompting him to place the funnyman under citizen’s arrest.

Russell and fiancee Katy Perry were going through security at Delta airport when the incident took place.

T.I. and his wife Tiny Cottle were arrested last night when police noticed the smell of marijuana coming from their vehicle. Doesn’t it seem like this is a recurring thing?!?

Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:18PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana.

When searching the vehicle cops found a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us the controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy.

Reportedly, since T.I. was on probation, this could violate that, causing the rapper to be sent back to prison. They both have since been released from jail on $10,000 bail. Also, both were booked on felony possession charges.

Reportedly, prior to Paris Hilton getting arrested for possession of cocaine, she asked to use the bathroom at the Wynn Hotel. Of course, it wasn’t because she really had to pee like she said. She allegedly wanted to use the opportunity to stash the coke in her goodie parts. Wow, that’s so classy.

“That’s why the first thing she asked the cops in Vegas was to use the bathroom,” the source named “Caroline” told IUC. “She knew it would be her only chance to hide the cocaine and avoid arrest. Paris is not as dumb as she seems. She’s one of the most clever and manipulative people one can ever meet. And she thinks quick, just like she did in Vegas. She has cat like reflexes.” The friend claims that Hilton has eluded airport security in the past by stashing the drugs in a lubricated condom before placing it in her vagina. “That’s what I’ve heard from a very good source, she’s a pro at it,” “Caroline” told IUC. “Paris travels all over the world and parties like a rockstar. I love her but she definitely needs professional help. It’s time she looks at herself in the mirror and realizes she’s not 21 anymore.”

I bet Paris Hilton is starting to worry about her cocaine bust now. She is set to be charged today with felony possession and could face up to four years in prison.

According the police report, the officer who stopped the Escalade, noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, so he pulled them over. Inside were Paris and boyfriend Cy Waits. Cy was arrested for DUI. Paris asked to be escorted into the Wynn Hotel so that she wouldn’t cause a media frenzy.

While inside the hotel, Paris asked for her purse to retrieve some lip balm. The officer notes, “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”

The officer asked her about the cocaine, to which she replied that “she had not seen it, but now thought it was gum.”

Authorities found .8 grams of cocaine inside the purse. Do you think she will do any jail time?

Paris Hilton has been telling her friends that the coke found by the cops in the purse she was carrying, was not hers.

At first she claimed that the entire purse wasn’t hers, but now she’s changing it up a little. She says that the cocaine was “probably her girlfriend’s.”

Sure it was. Close pals of the heiress are saying that Paris says that one of her girlfriends recently borrowed the purse and “probably” put the coke inside. She received the purse back, but neglected to check what was inside.

Paris said to pals, “I had no idea the cocaine was there. I swear on my life. It could be a setup. Everyone knows how against cocaine I am.”

Probably about just against marijuana she is…?

Of course, she’s using the Lohan excuse, by saying the purse isn’t hers. Lindsay tried that with cocaine, too, but they weren’t her pants.

Paris’ gun-toting boyfriend, Cy Waits, was also arrested, but he was popped for DUI.

Paris has already hired David Chesnoff as her attorney. She has been released on her own recognizance, without posting bail.

Jersey Shore reality star Snooki says that she never wants to go to jail again and that she’s “too pretty” for it. Ha!

Of her recent disorderly conduct arrest, she said, “I don’t know why people are taking it so seriously. I had a couple cocktails and they just put me in a drunk tank to sober me up. I was on the beach. It happens to the best of us, and I’m not planning on going back to jail ever again. I was a public nuisance — big deal!”

She won’t be facing any more jail time, which is a good thing for the pint-sized star.

She added, “I’m too pretty to be in jail. I’m a good person. I’m not a criminal, and I will never go back there. You can’t even contain me. When I was in there, I was like, ‘Can I come out? I can’t breathe!’ Not a fun place. I will never go back.”
