After having dated for a year, “Oz The Great & Powerful” actress Michelle Williams has called it quits with “How I Met Your Mother” actor Jason Segel. Such a sad report of their breakup, as we really liked them together.

There hasn’t been any official confirmation as to the reason behind the breakup. One rumor going around suggested was that they broke up because of the distance between them. Michelle has been fond of the New York City life with her daughter Matilda, while Jason had grown accustomed to living in Los Angeles.

A source revealed that they were “totally in love. Jason is obsessed with Matilda. He’s been doing all sorts of ‘dad stuff’ with her, like drawing and playing music.”

Jason previously said of his relationship with Michelle, “I think we would just very much like to be happy. That’s all I’m going to say about it.”

So sad to see two people who seemed to really click with one another go their separate ways. Perhaps it was just meant to be? It’s sad for Matilda, as she had reportedly gotten very close to Jason during his time with Michelle.

In January, the duo reportedly took a vacation to Mexico together where everything appeared to be happy and normal, but according to the latest gossip, it wasn’t enough to save their relationship.

The reason behind the split was said to be because of Jason living in Los Angeles while Michelle was living in New York City with her daughter Matilda. A source said that they were “totally in love. Jason is obsessed with Matilda. He’s been doing all sorts of ‘dad stuff’ with her, like drawing and playing music.”
