The bottle is cute, but the name is harkening back to the days of Freddie Mercury, don’t you think? We have yet to learn what the fragrance’s notes consist of, but the effort has taken her a year to pull off, or so she says.
She revealed on Twitter, “OK! I have been working on my 3rd fragrance for over a year & want to unveil the look NOW! What do u think?!”
What do you think of the bottle? It’s interesting, but we’re left wondering about the sturdiness of the bottle’s holder. What do you think? Hit the comments and leave us your thoughts!

Madonna has offered her new ad for her first fragrance, appropriately called Truth Or Dare. She looks like her old self in this ad — don’t you think? She looks as if she’s 20 years younger!
Madonna previously told Women’s Wear Daily, “I have always been obsessed by fragrance and for years wanted to create something personal that was an expression of me but that other people could relate to as well: something honest, and yet darling, hence the name Truth or Dare.”
The perfume has top notes of gardenia, tuberose and neroli with base notes of vanilla, amber and musk.
Although it officially goes on sale exclusively at Macys April 1, shoppers can secure their own bottle during a pre-sale for a limited time.

Katy Perry to launch Purr fragrance
by Lydia Harris on Jul.22, 2010, under articles

Katy Perry has been busy!
The singer just unveiled her new album cover yesterday and today, we’re hearing reports that she’s set to launch her own fragrance!
Contact Music reports:
The ‘California Gurls’ singer has teamed up with fragrance firm Firmenich to create Purr by Katy Perry – which includes peach nectar, apple, green bamboo, jasmine blossom and vanilla orchid as its ingredients – and she is confident consumers will be impressed with it.
She said, “There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I’m bringing is not like any other. It wasn’t just like, ‘I love gardenias.’ That would have been the easy route. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I’d smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent. I’d never want to do anything ‘just because’.”
She went on to reveal that she was inspired by friends who are in the business. She said, “I have about fifty fragrances and I’m intrigued by the mystique scent has. I saw a lot of my peers getting into this world, and, as with my music, I thought I could bring my touch to the category and make it competitive.”
As far as the name of the scent is concerned, she added, “I’m a very lyrical-based person, and the whole ‘purr’ thing kept coming back – the sound is in perfume, perfect, even Perry if you say it a certain way. It just seemed logical. The hardest part was keeping it under wraps for a year during the development process. I kept wanting to tell someone!”
Katy’s fragrance is set to hit stores in November. Will you buy it?
Amy Winehouse is coming out with a fragrance
by Roberta Ferguson on Jul.22, 2009, under articles
It’s eau de funk. Apparently Amy Winehouse wants in on the cash cow that belongs to celebrity fragrance makers. Britney Spears has launched a highly successful campaign, as well as Christina Aguilera and other singers. So what makes Amy any different?
I mean, besides the fact that she doesn’t look like she’s even had a bath in the last century, let alone wear perfume?
A source claims that Mitch Winehouse is pushing for it and that she’s already had a deal on the table for a half million dollars. Amy has refused thus far, but a new fragrance sporting her 1950′s smoky scent could be out in stores before you know it. Stay tuned.
