John Travolta Involved In Massage Lawsuit; Denies Claims

John Travolta Involved In Massage Lawsuit

Yesterday an unknown man going by the moniker John Doe launched a lawsuit at John Travolta, claiming that he was sexually assaulted by the actor. The lawsuit claims that John found the masseur’s ad online and contacted him for an appointment. They met up and went to the Beverly Hills Hotel and into John’s bungalow. At the time, the masseur claims that John got fully nude and gave him a massage for an hour without incident.

Afterward, the masseur claims that John tried to touch his leg and other man parts. The masseur then says that he informed John that he did not have sex with his clients, but John didn’t give up, offering to give the guy a handjob. He is suing John for $2 million in addition to punitive damages.

Now, John is hitting back at the lawsuit, claiming he wasn’t even in the area when the supposed massage was supposed to have gone down. TMZ reports:

The statement says, “This lawsuit is a complete fiction and fabrication. None of the events claimed in the suit ever occurred.”

The statement notes, the masseur didn’t disclose his name in the lawsuit — he sued as “John Doe.”

John is confident he will get the case thrown out and will sue the attorney and the masseur for malicious prosecution.

John has been the subject of many rumors surrounding his sexuality over the years. Shouldn’t someone call the Beverly Hills Hotel to see if John was there on the night in question?

Kris Jenner Sued Over Face Lift!

by on Aug.05, 2011, under articles

Kris Jenner Sued Over Face Lift!

Kris Jenner commented that she recently went under the knife to get a new face for her daughter, Kim Kardashian’s wedding. She had the procedure done in June, so that she wouldn’t look like an alien (basically) when it came to the wedding date, which is August 20th.

Now, there’s an anti-aging cosmetics company that Kris endorsed, who’s suing her for breach of contract! They have a point…if you want to endorse anti-aging products then it would seem rather dumb to get plastic surgery. It’s like false advertising, isn’t it? You don’t use a spokesperson for a weight loss product who has gotten gastric bypass done, right?

Still, Kris thinks the lawsuit from the company, B&P, has no merit because the surgery only tightened up loose neck skin and didn’t really affect her face. TMZ has more:

By doing so, B&P alleges, Jenner violated her agreement not to harm the reputation of the company and the product she’s endorsing — an eye care line called “Beautiful Eyes in a Bag.”

But sources close to the Kardashian Klan tell TMZ, Kris is adamant … the lawsuit is BOGUS — because Kris’ facelift didn’t affect her eyes in any way whatsoever … JUST HER NECK.

Kris’ alleged agreement with B&P went into affect in March 2011 and was to be effective until March 2012 — but Kris admitted … she got the facelift in June.

I’ll tell you this….whoever thought up that tagline, “Beautiful Eyes In A Bag” makes it sound like this is a product only for use in morgues. That would not inspire me to want to purchase anything they make. Would you?

Kim Kardashian Suing Old Navy Over Lookalike Melissa Molinaro Ad

Kim Kardashian Suing Old Navy Over Lookalike Melissa Molinaro Ad

Kim Kardashian is steaming mad at Old Navy for using a lookalike of her in a recent ad campaign. So mad, in fact, that she’s hitting them right in the wallet!

The ads ran showing Melissa Molinaro, who does actually look like the reality star. So, she’s taking them to court! She claims that the clothing company used the lookalike to fool the public into believing that she is actually affiliated with them.

TMZ reports:

We’re told Kim is especially furious that Old Navy has been tweeting to her page about the look-alike — in an effort to gain even more publicity.

One of those tweets read, “@CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy’s Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?”

We’re told Kim believes the copycat campaign has damaged her wallet somewhere in the range of $15 to $20 million.

If Lindsay can sue E-Trade for their Milkaholic Lindsay ad, then this kind of thing is possible to win. What do you think? Is she right in thinking that people were fooled into believing it was her? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Courtney Love Ordered To Pay Former Maids Unpaid Wages

Courtney Love Ordered To Pay Former Maids Unpaid Wages

Courtney Love has been ordered by a judge to part with over $35,000 – after allegedly stiffing two of her former maids.

Reportedly, she hadn’t paid the maids, named Myrium and Miriam, for a total of $35,769.72, including interest, penalties and wages.

Having hired help proved to be extra-costly for Courtney Love – and all because the rocker didn’t pay her maids in the first place. The two housekeepers proved to a court that the Hole singer refused to pay them for time that they’d already worked.

TMZ reports:

TMZ has learned … Love’s former maids — named Miriam and Myriam — scored a huge victory in Beverly Hills court … after proving Love never paid them for cleaning up her pad several years ago.

The judge now ruled Love must now kick out $16,632.45 to Mirium and $19,137.27 to Myrium … totaling $35,769.72 in wages, penalties and interest.

Someone really isn’t a stranger to lawsuits, are they? Why does she make everybody and their mothers sue her? Sheesh, just learn to pay your bills already!

Bret Michaels sues The Tony Awards & CBS

Bret Michaels sues The Tony Awards & CBS

Bret Michaels performed with Poison at the 2009 Tony Awards and if you’ll recall, he was struck in the head by a set piece descending from above. The blow knocked him down, causing lip and nose injuries — and now he’s saying that was the culprit for his brain hemorrhage.

In the lawsuit, Bret claims that he had no instruction on how to safely exit the stage and when he did, he was smacked in the face by the set piece. He was also hospitalized over a broken nose and a cut lip.

Six months after the awards show, Bret suffered from a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage that almost claimed his life. In the lawsuit, his lawyer said, “One of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma — exactly like the one Michaels suffered at the hands of the Tony Awards. Through his sheer will to live, to see his children grow up, he was able to survive this trauma.”

Tony Award producers have claimed that Bret missed his mark and offered no words of apology. He is suing for an unspecified figure.

Katie Holmes is suing Star magazine for drug claims!

Katie Holmes is suing Star magazine for drug claims!

Katie Holmes is suing American Media Inc. over publishing her alleged drug problem on the front cover of Star magazine’s January issue!

She’s seeking $50 million in damages after the publication claimed that she has an “addiction shocker”. They also revealed “The real reason she can’t leave Tom”. Her lawyer called BS on all of the magazine’s allegations and said that everyone should sue to get their money back!

The Wrap reports:

Star’s “vicious lies about plaintiff, designed to hype the sale of its sleazy tabloid magazine, were calculated to cause severe harm,” reads the lawsuit, obtained by TheWrap. “The average reader (would) understand that plaintiff has become shockingly addicted to drugs… There is no other way to understand them. The cover even created the false impression that, but for plaintiff’s nightmare drug addiction, she would ‘leave’ her husband.”

The inside article has no truths to back up the cover’s claims, according to her lawyer. He said, “We see these tabloids every week. They’ve been attacking her and her husband for years now, and she finally said, ‘Enough is enough.’ She wants to stand up for her legal rights. This is such an outrageous statement, this idea that this loving mother is on drugs, or suffering an addiction nightmare – there’s not a shred of truth to it.”

Charlie Sheen files extortion lawsuit against Capri Anderson

by on Nov.22, 2010, under articles

Now that porn star Capri Anderson has filed a criminal complaint against Charlie Sheen for the incident at a New York hotel, Charlie’s fighting back!

According to reports, Charlie has filed an extortion lawsuit against Capri and is also claiming that she stole his $165,000 watch. He says that she tried to extort him for one million dollars. She reportedly told him that if she didn’t get the money, she’d go to the Aspen prosecutors and try to have his probation violated.

TMZ has more:

The suit claims Capri also threatened “to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale.”

The suit says, “At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh.” Charlie also alleges Capri admitted to third parties after the incident she had not been battered or held against her will. And, according to the suit, Capri told the NYPD Sheen acted “like a total gentleman.”

The suit, filed by legal pit bull Marty Singer, also accuses Capri of stealing his $165,000 Patek Philippe watch.

In classic, Singer-esque language, the suit describes Capri as “an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity hungry scam-artist.”

Sheen is asking for unspecified damages, but nothing less than the $165,000 for his watch.

It just keeps getting better and better, doesn’t it?

Eva Longoria to apologize for car accident?

by on Oct.28, 2010, under articles

Last week, actress Eva Longoria got into a car accident with a man named Roman Gasparyan. He claimed to be suffering a series of injuries after the fender bender and has unleashed a lawsuit on her, claiming that she’s at fault.

Now, Roman claims that if she issues a public apology to him over the accident and takes the blame, he’ll drop the lawsuit.

His attorney said, “Mr. Gasparyan is not here for the money. He’s here for the justice and Mr. Gasparyan puts this proposal to Ms. Longoria that if she admits to this accident, that she’s at fault, and that she apologizes publicly to Mr. Gasparyan for causing him an injury and damages, we will dismiss this lawsuit.”

He went on, “We want everyone to know that Mr. Gasparyan wants justie and the truth to come out of this matter. We will give Ms. Longoria until tomorrow to respond to our offer.”

Her rep has denied that she was to blame for the accident. Do you think she will just apologize if she can get it in writing that he’ll drop the lawsuit against her and go away?

Taylor Lautner wins settlement of $40,000 from RV company

by on Sep.05, 2010, under articles

Taylor Lautner recently sued McMahon’s RV over an RV that was supposed to be delivered for his use, to the set of Abduction. When the RV wasn’t delivered as expected, Taylor started legal action. In a bid to use the lawsuit as a publicity stunt, the owner of McMahon’s issued a push-up challenge to the Twilight star.

Taylor’s people laughed off the challenge, but as of Friday, the suit has been settled. Taylor’s attorney, Robert Barta, said, “McMahon’s RV has agreed to settle its dispute with Taylor Lautner. McMahon’s RV will pay $40,000 to Lautner, which Lautner will donate to The Lollipop Theater Network, a children’s charity with which he has a long-standing relationship. The Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. The Lollipop Theater Network works with hospitals nationwide, including the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.”

Kudos to Taylor for being ultra-charitable. What a good kid.

Zack Taylor to be sued over Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato hook up story?

by on Aug.14, 2010, under articles

Canadian blogger Zack Taylor published an exclusive story on August 11th, titled, “DEMI LOVATO AND JOE JONAS ARE FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS?!” The story was picked up by everybody and their mother, including us, which prompted Joe’s team to go on the attack.

According to TMZ, Joe’s attorney has issued a letter to Zack, demanding the removal of the post itself. The letter basically states that the post is false, defamatory and offensive. The letter also states that if this post and any other defamatory posts on the Jonas brothers aren’t removed, a lawsuit will follow.

The major kerfuffle in this story is because she’s still a minor at the age of 17, while he’s 20. What do you think of the situation? Do you think the posts should be removed?

Lindsay Lohan being sued by boutique for $17,060.83

by on Jun.30, 2010, under articles

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by Tough As Nails boutique where she spent thousands of dollars, but said that her manager would take care of the bill. The only problem, her manager plunked down a paltry $180 and that’s it!

TMZ reports:

The suit, which will be filed in L.A. County Superior Court, alleges Lindsay “had no intention of causing her business manager to pay the entire balance.”

And there’s this — the suit claims the boutique owners relied on Lindsay’s “well known status as a movie actress with substantial income.” Wrong on both counts.

The owners say Lindsay committed premeditated fraud and are seeking the balance — $16,880.63 — plus interest and punitive damages.

Apparently they didn’t get the memo that Lindsay is broke? She’d better get on tweeting those “deals” AKA ad money!

Wrigley’s suing Chris Brown over yanked ads?

by on Oct.08, 2009, under articles

chris_brown_wrigleysPer Janet Charlton’s blog, I’ve just found that Wrigley’s gum might be suing Chris Brown for the money they lost due to the Rihanna incident.

Apparently, they produced his song “Forever” and he had signed a 5-year-deal with him when the Rihanna incident happened. This caused them to pull all of their ads, even the ones featuring other celebrities, because Chris was a part of them. These celebrity spots included commercials with Jay-Z and Mariah Carey.

They’ve fired him over the bad publicity that ensued from beating Rihanna, and now they’re reportedly considering a lawsuit to recoup their losses.

Britney Spears Sued By Photographer For Running Over His Foot

by on May.29, 2009, under articles

Britney Spears is being sued by a photographer, after a 2007 incident where she ran over his foot.

The snapper, Rick Mendoza, was taking pictures of Spears when he fell and she ran over his foot with her Mercedes. He walked away from the incident, as you can see in the video.

In the lawsuit, Mendoza says that Britney’s people, also named as defendants, “should have known….Britney was not in the mental, emotional and/or physical condition to operate the subject motor vehicle in a safe and reasonable manner.”

One man on the scene even commented that he heard the photographer’s foot crack. He did seem to walk away without any issue, though. I wonder how much he’s suing for.
