Celine Dion is returning to Las Vegas

by on Feb.10, 2010, under articles

Celine Dion has signed a multi-million dollar deal to make her return to Las Vegas. The songstress will launch her new performances at the Caesars Palace theater, under a new three year deal.

She will reportedly perform 70 shows a year, which will kick off March 15, 2011.

Her husband, Rene Angelil, said, “We’re very happy to return to the Las Vegas stage. The schedule will be human for Celine, to avoid tiring her out. This second show in Las Vegas will be as amazing as the first adventure, with ‘A New Day’…”

Will you be going to see her perform live?

Celine Dion has received an honorary degree from Canadian university, Universite Laval, yesterday in acknowledgement of her personal and professional achievements.

Dang. Why don’t they pass that crap out to those of us that might actually use it. Nope, instead they’d rather give that special piece of paper to someone who is a successful singer, but has never even finished high school.

Way to go, Canada! And while we’re at it, please keep Avril. Thanks in advance.
