Bruno said it was good and there were moments he couldn’t distinguish between the two of them. Carrie Ann said it was a good routine and it was powerful. He went off a few time. Len said they were two skinny fries chasing over the ketchup. Great job, well done!

On tonight’s show, Disney star Roshon Fegan and his professional dance partner Chelsie Hightower will be performing the Rumba. Can Roshon be sensual? HA. We will soon find out!
WATCH:
Judges’ commentary:
Carrie Ann: The heat went up a few notches. She thought his movements were a bit overexaggerated tonight. She’s proud of him for getting into the zone.
Len: The movements were jerky. He didn’t dislike it. It was too jerky. Don’t speed it up with syncopation.
Bruno: What he lacks in size, he makes up with fire. His body naturally wants to hit the beat each time. It was almost like Hip Hop. The performance was great.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 23/30

Roshon Fegan’s Dancing With The Stars Salsa Performance Video 4/16/12
by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.16, 2012, under articles

Tonight is an all new episode of ABC’s hit reality show Dancing With The Stars and it’s Latin Week! This follows our favorite week which was Rock Week which saw rock legends KISS performing on both nights! Of course, we are recapping tonight’s show LIVE here, so check that out to keep up to date on all things DWTS!
On tonight’s show Disney star Roshon Fegan and his professional dance partner Chelsie Hightower are doing the Salsa. Last week, Roshon came out of his shell with the Viennese Waltz and scored a nice 26 points. Can he do it again?
WATCH THE VIDEO:
Our commentary:
Roshon said he wants to emulate Spanish hottie William Levy and he even gave him some tips. He’s shaking it! It’s cute in parts, disconnected in others and it’s faux sexy in other parts. We’re not sure what to think of it really. It’s weird when Disney stars try to bring the sexiness to the dance floor.
The judges’ commentary:
Bruno: Roshon is wired for Salsa. It’s unbelievable. It was right on the beat.
Carrie Ann: You’ve got your own mojo and it was sexy. She liked it and it was very appropriate.
Len: He liked his enthusiasm. He’s like a young guy with his first car, but he has to slow down and enjoy the journey.
Scores:
Carrie Ann: 9
Len: 8
Bruno: 9
Total score: 26/30

Roshon Fegan’s Dancing With The Stars Viennese Waltz 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Disney star Roshon Fegan and his professional dance partner Chelsie Hightower are doing the Viennese Waltz. It’s our favorite week of every season and both nights this week, we get to see KISS rock out on the stage.
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
Our commentary on the dance:
He wants to show the world that he can be a real ballroom dancer. Can he pull it off? It’s weird to have a slow dance during rock week. He’s doing a great job. His posture is good. Uh oh, did he almost drop her? She lost some beads from her dress.
Judge’s comments:
Bruno: You’re flying so high you can touch the sky. He loved how he extended his lines with his hand. It was elegant and romantic.
Carrie Ann: It was like a Disney movie. He’s the best dancer out of the men.
Len: “Good job, dog.” He performed it with style and panache.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Total: 26/30

by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.26, 2011, under articles

Last night’s Dancing With The Stars had a bit of a mishap when Karina Smirnoff hit the floor in the middle of her dance with Ralph Macchio.
Now, Len asked Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel to re-do their stripper happy Samba from last night. Oh God, someone please vote this broad off already. She’s seriously awful.
American Idol castoff Pia Toscano performed I’ll Stand By You and she sounded great! I haven’t been keeping tabs on Idol at all, but I have to wonder how she was voted off at all???

Who was eliminated on Dancing With The Stars 4/12/11?
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.12, 2011, under articles

On last night’s Dancing With The Stars, reality actress Kendra Wilkinson and her dance partner Louis Van Amstel garnered the lowest scores of the night with an 18 our of 30 points. But, as we all know, that doesn’t mean that they are going to be sent packing at the end of the night!
Kristie Alley suffered a fumble, as her shoe became undone during her Waltz. She scored 22 points for herself and dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Being as this is pretty much a popularity contest, we’re going to fathom a guess that Sugar Ray Leonard bites the dust tonight. BUT — We could be wrong!
SAFE:
Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff
Hines Ward & Kym Johnson
Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke
Romeo & Chelsie Hightower
Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Dancing With The Stars week two recap 3/28/11
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.28, 2011, under articles

Dancing With The Stars is back for week two and they all have another chance to make good scores due to the fact that no one was eliminated last week!
Dancing first were Sugar Ray Leonard and Anna Trebunskaya, doing the Jive. Len commented that Sugar Ray was in jeopardy already. Bruno said that it was too soft around the edges. They scored 17 points.
Dancing next were Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel, doing the Quickstep. Len commented that her posture was a bit hit and miss. Overall, there was improvement over last week. They scored a total of 19 points.
Up next on the dance floor were Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, dancing the Jive. It was an entertaining dance, yet the judges said that there wasn’t much of a Jive to it. Carrie Ann said that she didn’t care for the choreography. They scored a total of 18 points.
Dancing the Quickstep are Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke. His dancing seemed a bit stiff, but overall, it looked like he was having fun. At points, it seemed a bit effortless for Chris, which is a bonus. They scored a total of 23 points.
Up next are Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin, doing the Jive. She did a pretty good performance. Len said, “Long legs, bad technique”, but she “did it beautifully.” They scored a total of 18 points.
Dancing next are Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Quickstep. They did a good job, I loved their dance, even though it wasn’t my favorite song choice…Ha. She ended the dance with a big kiss for Maks! They scored a total of 20 points.
Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer are up next, doing the Jive. He was truly awful and slow and stiff — and that’s being kind. Obviously, this guy needs to stick to radio. They scored a total of 17 points.
Dancing next are Romeo and Chelsie Hightower, doing the Quickstep. They looked cute and a little disconnected. He looked like he was about to mess up at any minute. They scored a total of 23 points.
Next up are Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani doing the Quickstep. This dance wasn’t very quick, considering that it’s a Quickstep. Too many props, too, in my opinion. They scored a total of 17 points.
Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff danced the Jive next. They did really well, the dance was fast and fun! He’s 49 and he’s dancing like he’s 20. You go, Karate Kid! They scored a total of 21 points.
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson danced the Quickstep next. They did decent, but not spectacular. I can see him doing better in a ballroom styled dance, instead of something that was supposed to be so fast. They scored a total of 23 points.
Who are you rooting for???
