Despite having filed for divorce, Courteney Cox still refers to her ex-husband David Arquette as her best friend. How sweet! It’s good to see celebrities getting along with the utmost regard for their child, as have Courteney and David. What a really amicable way of being apart…

The former couple called it quits in 2010, but ended up filing for divorce in 2012 and Courteney says that she still loves him. In a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she said, “He’s my best friend in the world. I love him. I appreciate David more now than I ever did. I mean, it’s hard…. I don’t recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we’ve both grown and changed.”

She went on to say, “I think we both appreciate each other more. I hope he does. I do.”

Since becoming single, Courteney said that her co-stars on “Cougar Town” have tried to help her find someone new. When he was asked who he would choose for Courteney to date, Brian van Holt pointed at Dan Byrd and jokingly said, “She loves this man right here, she likes the cerebral hunk type.”

Her other show co-star Busy Phillips said, “A couple of people have asked me who I would set Courteney up with. I think she is a homebody and if Courteney had her way she would never leave her house, so she does need a partner who will bring her out and just tell her she has no choice and, make her go out into the world. She prefers everyone to come to her beautiful house, and by the way if my house was as good as hers I’d never want to leave it.”

When the news broke that David Arquette had finally filed for divorce from Courteney Cox, she wasn’t saddened by the news. Rumor has it that he signed the divorce documents in March, but had waited roughly three months before filing them in court.

David filed the papers on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. When asked about David’s decision to file the documents, Courteney replied sarcastically, “He diiiiid? Oh my God, I didn’t know.”

Well she shouldn’t really be surprised that he wasn’t going to hang around forever in hopes of a reconciliation, right? He was vocal about wanting to try and work things out, but she was against the idea.

David Arquette married Courteney Cox on June 12, 1999 and share a daughter together. In October of 2010, the duo announced that they were going through a trial separation, but commented that they still love each other deeply.

On Friday, June 8th, David filed for divorce from Courteney, citing irreconcilable differences. David is asking the court to award them joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Coco. David filed the papers without an attorney and has signed them in March. He was holding on to the paperwork for almost three months before going down to the courthouse and filing them. Despite Brad and Jennifer splitting up, the new rumors suggest that Courteney has agreed to accept Brad’s wedding invitation. A source has revealed, “Courteney would never have accepted it at the height of the split but she says they’ve all grown up and moved on.”

The insider added, “Jen’s upset and hurt, though.”

Can you imagine ditching your very supportive best friend to spend more time with someone you live with? Sure, she should expect to see Jennifer less, given that she’s dating someone new, but to completely ignore your BFF is just heinous. Don’t you think?

Courteney Cox talked to Howard Stern recently about her personal life and revealed that she’s not exactly quite ready for any type of relationship just yet. She said that she hasn’t been with a man since things went south between herself and estranged husband, David Arquette. Wow, so she hasn’t had sex since 2010?!?

And why is everybody and their mother talking to Howard about their sex lives? David opens up to Howard all of the time and now Courteney is! Crazy.

Earlier this week, she told Howard, “I have not had a man since David. No guy has asked me out. Right now, I’m not quite ready to date. I’m getting closer…as things become more final in my life with David.”

He was rumored to be cheating on her, but since hasn’t wasted any time hooking up with Christina McLarty, who was once linked to Girls Gone Wild founder, Joe Francis. Courteney still calls David her “favorite person in the world”, however.

Apparently, he has been trying to get her to put herself out there for dating. She said, “He says to me, ‘Courteney, it’s time. Get out there.’ He wants me to date now. He wants me to start my life, and he’s comfortable with whoever that would be.”

Rumor has it that Courteney Cox and David Arquette just might be working things out!

Reportedly, the former couple are seeking the help of a therapist to work out their issues. They were spotted at a therapist’s office on May 5th, according to gossip tabloid, Life & Style magazine.

The couple separated on October 11, 2011, after being married since June 12, 1999. They have one daughter together, Coco.

In recent interviews, they have said nothing but good things about each other, prompting speculation that they weren’t ready to call time on their marriage just yet.

On Monday night, Courteney Cox appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, telling the talk show host that last summer, she thought she’d discovered that her husband, David Arquette was gay.

She was checking through his iTunes purchases last year to see what kind of music David was buying. Then, she came across a subscription to Grinder, a gay website.

She said, “There were a lot of books…and there were some songs, and then it said, ‘Grinder – to find your same sex in your neighborhood.’ I was like, ‘Wow, what if you actually don’t know the person you’ve been with for that long? I wonder if David’s buying Grinder.’”

She went on to reveal, “It’s a gay website that you get to punch something in and see where another guy in your neighborhood is. So I called up my assistant, who happens to be gay…and I said, ‘Did you happen to buy anything on our iTunes thing’. He said, ‘No’, and now I’m kinda shaking. I’m like, ‘This is gonna be a weird call to David.’”

She added, “I said, ‘Come on buddy, it’s alright. I wouldn’t get mad. Tell me about one thing – you bought Grinder’. He said, ‘Oh yeah, that was a free app…’”

David Arquette obviously still loves his estranged wife, Courteney Cox, so when they went to Disney World together, he tried to put the moves on her. Sadly for him, he was rejected.

The former couple took their daughter Coco to the theme park, and while there, he tried some reconciliation tactics. She rejected his advances and even insisted on staying on separate floors in their hotel!

In a new interview, David said that he would like a reconciliation, but it’s hard because she’s famous. He said, “That’s what I’d like from her relationship…to have a lot more fun. Some of that stuff is a lot harder for her to do. She can’t go to South America and be anonymous there. ‘Friends’ is everywhere.”

How It Started: Who cares, it’s Tom freakin’ Hardy!
Resolution: Lindsay took to Twitter to say that they’re only friends. Being “just friends” isn’t something that we’d want to admit, but to each their own.

Rumor: Jessica Simpson wanted special treatment at the DMV
How It Started: Someone told the National Enquirer that Jessica was acting self-entitled at the DMV, asking for a private waiting room.
Resolution: Jessica tweeted that she hadn’t been to the DMV “in years”.

Rumor: Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony were adopting a baby
How It Started: Britain’s Fabulous magazine said that the couple wished to add another baby into their brood.
Resolution: J-Lo debunked the rumors, saying that if they’re going to have another baby, it’s going to be au naturale.

Rumor: Scott Disick is in love with Kim Kardashian
How It Started: In Touch Weekly ran a cover story claiming that Scott confessed his love for the more popular Kardashian sibling.
Resolution: Kim laughed and tweeted this message, “OMG @ScottDisick I had no idea u felt this way! @KourtneyKardash we need to talk!”

6. Jennifer Aniston
Rumor: Jennifer Aniston is adopting a Mexican baby
How It Started: Star magazine just can’t seem to leave Jennifer alone. They reported in a recent issue that the adoption papers were already “signed and sealed”.
Resolution: Her rep called the reports a “work of fiction” and denied that she is adopting, planning out a baby room and hiring a nanny.

Rumor: Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds are dating
How It Started: They spent New Year’s Eve together as friends — and the tabloids did the rest of the work.
Resolution: Sandra talked with Al Roker on The Today Show and said that she doesn’t “get his loving after dark.”

8. Nicole Richie
Rumor: Nicole Richie is pregnant
How It Started: She probably ate a big lunch and was spotted walking around with a cheeseburger belly, prompting online speculation.
Resolution: She released a statement, saying that she is not pregnant and that people’s bodies are changing and it’s cruel to point that out. She added that the story wasn’t even newsworthy.

Resolution: She said that they are just friends and were filming scenes together. She added that she’s gotten used to the rumors and they are just a part of life.

How It Started: The Daily Star published a story from a source claiming that Kelly had put on some weight and wanted to have the surgery done. They claimed that she was worried about losing her modeling deal for Madonna’s Material Girl label.
Resolution: Kelly took to Twitter to call BS on the reports. She blasted a member of the media for not fact-checking and made it clear that she does not want a gastric band.
