Nathan Lee Parada attempted to break into Paris Hilton’s mansion last summer and has been sentenced to two years in prison as a result.

Paris was with her then-boyfriend, Cy Waits, at the time. When the intruder approached her home with a knife, Cy seized the opportunity to take him down and hold him at gunpoint until authorities arrived.

Earlier today, he was found guilty of first degree burglary and was given a two year prison sentence.

Yes, we live in a world where people can get caught with cocaine and steal jewelry and not have to do any real time in the pokey. Yet, this guy gets two years for attempted burglary. I’m not saying he’s right, but the legal system is basically organized so that if you have a metric ton of money, then you automatically get a “get out of jail free” card.

The legal system worked for Paris, Lindsay and Paris’ pal, Brandon Davis, but not Nathan Lee Parada? Granted, theirs were victimless crimes, but still, according to the law, it is still illegal to do drugs. And this guy is crazy, so we can’t fail to mention that.

Just a week ago, it was announced that heiress Paris Hilton and Cy Waits had split up. Apparently, he wasn’t too much of a fan of the media attention and we all know that Paris is a natural born famewhore. So obviously that wasn’t going to work out.

Paris seems to be back on the promotion trail for her craptastic reality show, The World According To Paris. But, her mother Kathy, on the other hand, seems to be upset at their split!

On the subject of Cy, Kathy said, “He really is an angel. I do adore him. My heart is broken. That’s why I don’t like getting close to the boyfriends because they become like a part of the family.”

She revealed that she told Paris to concentrate on herself and family time, instead of looking for someone new right away. She said, “I think it’s very hard to be with somebody that’s in the limelight when you’re really not into that. The thing is, she goes from one boyfriend to the next. I think she will be single for a while. I told her, you need girlfriend time right now and family time. We don’t need to just put a Band-Aid on this.”

The media circus surrounding Paris Hilton’s life must be too much for Cy Waits, because it’s now being said that the two have broken up!

He had already gone on record to say that he wasn’t a fan of her new reality show, The World According To Paris. Now, we’re hearing that he wasn’t into the whole media spotlight and called it quits!

A friend said, “They are broken up. It’s sad, she cares about him a lot and thinks he’s a great guy but they really hit a rough patch.”

Another pal said, “Cy’s found it difficult to live his life with her in the spotlight and that’s what caused their split. No drama, it’s amicable, but things didn’t work out.”

I guess those who get busted for cocaine possession together don’t actually stay together. Is it a coincidence that the “unknown herpes celebrity” also settled their case for $5 million? Sure, it must be.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits are still together, but there’s one thing about her that he doesn’t exactly care for….her new reality show!

Paris just started her new show, The World According To Paris, on the Oxygen Network. Cy doesn’t seem to like it, and it might be good for him, because the show debuted to less than stellar ratings.

A source said, “Pairs loves and respects Cy very much. He has been through a lot with her. But sometimes it’s hard on their relationsip because he’s not used to this lifestyle, the media and being on the show.”

Rightfully enough, Cy doesn’t want his daughter involved in the media circus that seems to follow Paris everywhere she goes. The source continued, “Cy is very upset with ‘The World According To Paris’. He felt that way too much of their private life was shown. When he signed on to do the show, he had no idea the cameras would be so invasive.”

I’m sure that the cameras will be there to film all of the drama. Do you think he really doesn’t like the show? Or are they releasing statements like this one to drum up some viewership? A lesson from Kim Kardashian: Drum up the drama and people will watch.

Paris Hilton is throwing out the “I wanna get married” vibes to boyfriend, Cy Waits!

Or, it could be that she just wants the publicity surrounding the idea of getting married. Famewhores will do just about anything for attention, won’t they? Just ask Kim Kardashian!

A pal of Cy’s said, “He’s been ring shopping and trying to find the perfect rock to propose to Paris with. He is deeply in love with her and wants to be with her forever.”

Do you think they are ready to take that next step in their relationship? You know, the step where they fake getting engaged for the media blitz?

Paris Hilton has been a grown child for nearly twelve years now, so I would think that it’s about time she grew up a little, don’t you?

She’s partied wasted, got busted for drugs and has shown off her boobs for every Tom, Dick and Harry out there. So I imagine she feels that turning the big 3-0 is like the end of the world.

She said, “It’s scary.” Afterward, she said that she would be partying it up, per usual. She said, “We’re planning a lot of big parties around it. I’m so excited!”

Whether or not she’d turn her uterus into a Waits incubator this year, she added, “Yeah definitely! I’d love that.”

Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were aboard a flight from Los Angeles to Maui when they were taken off of the flight at LAX. A passenger alerted a flight attendant that she found a 4-inch serrated kitchen knife in a seat pocket.

All of the passengers were told to evacuate the plane so that security can investigate and search for other weapons. Paris and Cy were in First Class, but have deplaned since.

I know we’ve speculated on this before, but heiress Paris Hilton is really looking like she’s pregnant lately. In this photo, taken in Madrid, Paris looks like she’s about three months pregnant.

Considering that she has always been fairly thin, it would be reasonable to assume that she and boyfriend Cy Waits might just be taking things to the next level.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits haven’t had nearly enough trouble in their lives. Of course, there isn’t much that Paris gets herself into that she can’t get out of with the help of a little bit of cash.

The couple were leaving BOA Steakhouse last night when they ran into some photographers. Apparently Cy knocked a female photographer over as they exited in his Bentley. He reportedly ran over her leg in the process.

Wow. Time for somebody to go back to driving school. But seriously, if you’ve ever seen photos of all of the paparazzi that surround celebrities at times, it is truly madness. But what I want to know is, is why his license hadn’t already been revoked after his DUI?

Paramedics were called and the lady snapper was taken to the hospital. Police were called and they questioned Cy, who was cited for a hit and run, after leaving the scene of the accident.

Paris Hilton was busted at the end of August for cocaine possession after her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was stopped for smoking pot. He was booked on DUI and she got felony possession. Now, it’s being said that the heiress is being offered a plea deal in her case.

She can avoid jail time by pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges, one, the drug offense, and the other, lying to a police officer.

She is set to be arraigned on October 27, 2010 where she will enter her plea. Do you think she should take the deal? It sure beats going to jail!

I bet Paris Hilton is starting to worry about her cocaine bust now. She is set to be charged today with felony possession and could face up to four years in prison.

According the police report, the officer who stopped the Escalade, noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, so he pulled them over. Inside were Paris and boyfriend Cy Waits. Cy was arrested for DUI. Paris asked to be escorted into the Wynn Hotel so that she wouldn’t cause a media frenzy.

While inside the hotel, Paris asked for her purse to retrieve some lip balm. The officer notes, “As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggie begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”

The officer asked her about the cocaine, to which she replied that “she had not seen it, but now thought it was gum.”

Authorities found .8 grams of cocaine inside the purse. Do you think she will do any jail time?

In case you were hiding under a rock over the weekend, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were arrested on Friday night. Cy got clipped for DUI, while Paris got pinched for cocaine possession. What a lovely couple.

Since, Cy has been canned from his job at the Wynn Hotel. Could it be because Paris wanted to go inside of one of their hotels so that she could have some privacy away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi? Hmm…?

A Las Vegas insider tells E! Online, “Wynn has a zero-tolerance policy with their club execs when it comes to brushes with the law.”

Wow. That’s gotta suck. Think Paris can throw her weight around (all 100 pounds of it) and get him a job at the Hilton?

Paris has already hired David Chesnoff as her attorney. She has been released on her own recognizance, without posting bail.

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend, Cy Waits, is her knight in shining armor!

When Paris’ home was nearly burgled by an intruder wielding two knives, Cy sprung into action — with a gun!

We’re told that Paris and Cy heard loud banging noises coming from outside of the home at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Cy says that he saw the assailant and pulled a gun on him until the police arrived.

TMZ reports:

Cy immediately went outside — with his weapon drawn — and ordered Parada to drop the knives and lay on his stomach. We’re told Cy kept his gun pointed at Parada until cops arrived.

Law enforcement sources also tell us Parada told cops that he had purchased a Star Map on Hollywood Blvd. hours before the incident … because he wanted to find out where Paris lived.

He’s her hero now….she’ll probably marry this one. What do you think?

Paris Hilton showed up to the launch of her latest perfume Tease at My House in Hollywood last night, dressed as a tranny version of Marilyn Monroe.

In the photo set, she doesn’t really look like she’s pregnant, except for the last pic [above]. Is it the angle? Because she looks like she’s at least three or four months along there.

Could it be true? Is Paris knocked up? And if so, by who? Doug Reinhardt or new boyfriend Cy Waits???

Paris Hilton has a new man in her life! After dumping Doug Reinhardt, she has been spotted with Las Vegas nightclub owner, Cy Waits. The duo are said to be smitten with each other.

Paris shot a new commercial for Devassa Beer in Long Beach and it was said that Cy couldn’t keep his hands off of her. A snitch on the scene said, “They are clearly enjoying every minute of their new relationship and aren’t afraid to show their feelings and affection for one another.”

She has already commented that she doesn’t want a famous boyfriend and is looking for something more low key. She said, “It’s really hard in my position just being in a relationship, because so much goes along with it. The media are constantly making up stories and it’s just hard to know if you can trust a guy who has fame. I’d rather be with someone who’s not in the public eye – I think it just makes it easier, and I don’t know there’s so much that comes along with it. I’d rather be with someone who’s not in this world.”
