Lady Gaga has already teamed up with pop icon Cyndi Lauper and VIVA Mac for global AIDS/HIV awareness, so it comes as no surprise that the singer is using her celebrity to endorse a condom line.

Wrap it up, little monsters!

MTV reports:

The sometimes kooky, always unforgettable Gaga is working with designer Jeremy Scott to let her fans know that they should wear condoms — especially ones designed by Scott in association with Proper Attire. “It’s not complicated, just a fashion statement,” Lady Gaga said in a press release about the collaboration. “Everybody wrap it up with Jeremy Scott for Proper Attire condoms.” The condoms come in three varieties (studded, ribbed and sheer), and proceeds from sales will benefit Planned Parenthood.

The condoms will be sold at Opening Ceremony stores and online at Opening Ceremony and Proper Attire. While Gaga has been known to wear clothes designed by Scott, it is still unknown if Gaga will take her own advice and use this particular brand of condoms in her private time. And, as much as we love to know everything about Gaga, this is one thing she’s totally welcome to keep private.

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper appeared on Good Morning America to talk about the Viva MAC lipstick along with AIDS awareness.

Gaga said, “We have a lot in common. Cyndi and I have talked about how, for me growing up, my mother was the one who taught me about makeup, and watching her do her makeup in the morning was a very special moment for us. I’m hoping, and Cyndi’s hoping, that mothers and sisters and best friends buy each other this lipstick and say, ‘This lipstick represents you protecting yourself, having safe sex, and remembering to have loving, monogamous relationships to protect you and those around you.’”

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Joe Jonas is set to take on judging duties on American Idol’s upcoming season. In the chair that was once filled by Paula Abdul, it was rumored that Victoria Beckham, Kirstie Alley, Cyndi Lauper, and Kelly Clarkson were all set to appear in her place, and that still may happen.

We’ve heard confirmation on Beckham, but Clarkson is still up in the air.

Rumor has it that Britney Spears might be set to perform on the finale of “American Idol”.

She’s rumored to be taking the stage on the night that’s dedicated to finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Confirmed appearances on the show include Lionel Richie, Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper (yay), Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, along with past winners David Cook and Carrie Underwood.

Producers of the show have not confirmed any appearance by Britney, so we’re guessing at this point. Who else would you like to see on the finale?

In other Britney Spears news, apparently she sure knows how to spend the dough. She spent a whopping ten million between February and December, on Kevin Federline, child support, lawyers, and security.

Yes! Cyndi Lauper is back!

She is looking good, too. You go girl! Don’t let Madonna have all of the fun. Cyndi Lauper worked with director Karl Giant to make this video and somewhat mashed up song. I’m digging it. It’s very poppy, and it reminds me of why I loved her music in the first place.
