Kate Gosselin To Do ‘Dancing With The Stars’ All-Star Season?
by Jed Eckert on May.23, 2012, under articles

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the network was giving the go-ahead for a “Dancing With The Stars” all-stars season. ABC’s entertainment president Paul Lee said, “We can’t talk about the casting yet, but I’d love to see some of the fan favorites from the past seasons come back. We’ve had many favorites over the 14 seasons that we’ve got. So, fingers crossed. We’re out casting now, and I hope we come in with a really interesting cast of people who our audience is passionate about.”
Since, we’ve learned that those close to the production on the show are in the process of getting Kate Gosselin back for another season. Apparently she was so captivating the first time around that they feel the professional dancers need even more torture. When her season aired, we really felt bad for her dance partner Tony Dovolani, but to hear that she’s in the running for another season, the entire cast has our sympathies.
An insider said, “They are going to ask Kate but hope they don’t have to use her as the cast and crew hated her. She would be a last resort.”
Of course if she was asked, she would likely take it. It’s work, it’s on television and it probably pays better than being a coupon blogger. Would you want to see Kate Gosselin attempt dancing again on “Dancing With The Stars”?
Donald Driver Wins 2012 Season 14 Of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ 5/22/12
by Megan Lindsey on May.22, 2012, under articles

The competition was fierce on season 14 of “Dancing With The Stars” but Green Bay Packers football player Donald Driver and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd have emerged victorious. We’ve live recapped the performance episode from last night, as well as tonight’s elimination here.
On last night’s episode, they took on their Argentine Tango for the judge’s choice with Carrie Ann Inaba as their mentor. Carrie Ann commented that she loved it the first time and she loved it again. Len called the dance a vast improvement over their first performance of the same dance. Bruno called it “strong storytelling.” For their efforts, they received a total of 29 points out of 30.
They ended round two on a strong note for their Freestyle dance. Carrie Ann was left dancing on the judges’ table. Len said that “in football, catches win matches and here, chances win dances.” Bruno called it a “country-inspired triumph”. For their efforts, they received a perfect score.
On tonight’s show, they performed an encore performance of their Freestyle dance from last night. It was still a really cute dance. Donald was really working it once more.
Later in the show, they performed a Cha Cha Cha for the judge’s votes. He danced shirtless and really strutted his stuff, much to the delight of the audience. Carrie Ann said he is a fierce competitor and he has a love for the show. He’s determined to win. Len said his feeling is that no one is a loser tonight and all three of them are absolute winners tonight. He’s the best footballer they’ve had. Bruno said it was another massive hit for “Donald the magnificent”. He’s improved week after week. The judges gave them a total of 30 points.
After the viewer’s votes were tallied with the judges’ scores, Tom Bergeron announced that Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd have won this season of the show. Prior to that, Tom announced that William and Cheryl have landed in third place, with Katherine and Mark in second place.

Who Will Win 2012 ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 14?
by Megan Lindsey on May.21, 2012, under articles

On last week’s elimination episode of “Dancing With The Stars”, we said goodbye to TV correspondent Maria Menounos and her professional dance partner Derek Hough. Now that we’re heading into the Finals tonight, we are left with William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver — all vying for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy.
After her elimination, Maria said, “I learned so many things – I learned how strong I was, I learned to persevere.”
When it was announced that she was safe, Katherine breathed a sigh of relief. Apparently she felt that her stumble at the end of her final dance on Tuesday might jeopardize her chances of going to the Finale. Her partner, Mark Ballas, said that he was trying to get a perfect score for their final dance. Despite injuring herself, the judges loved the dance and gave her nothing but good commentary.
William, Donald and Katherine are all strong dancers, so it’s up to America’s votes as to who’s going to walk away a winner on this season of the show. We will find out when the finale airs later on tonight, but until then, tell us who you think is going to win! Who’s YOUR favorite?
