“Star” magazine made the claim that Zac Efron was hooking up with Rihanna. A little bit far-fetched, don’t you think? We do! Especially after this denial!

Reps for Efron and Fenty are denying all of the reports that they are getting together. Reportedly, Efron was pretty desperate to ditch his clean-cut image. If that’s the case, then he sure did a pretty good job of that when he dropped a condom on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Lorax”.

A source told the tabloid, “Rihanna called his room right away and they had a sweet conversation. Zac suggested that they get together when they’re both in L.A. and she said, ‘Absolutely!’ Zac’s sick of his good-guy image. He wants to cut loose and have some fun – and he thinks Rihanna is the perfect girl for that.”

While that is true, the singer does like to keep her bad girl image fresh in everyone’s minds. Still — it doesn’t mean that the rumors of a hookup between the pair are true.

“Gossip Cop” talked to Fenty’s rep who called the reports “inaccurate”, along with Efron’s rep who said plainly that the story is “false”.

According to reports, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel Bilson are dating.

Jake has been previously linked to Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst and Isabel Lucas, among others. Reportedly, after being dumped by Reese, he has paired up with Rachel. And it’s not too long after her relationship with Hayden Christensen went South.

Even though reps have denied the romance rumors, a snitch close to the couple says, “They’re trying to keep a low profile but they’re definitely dating.”

What ever happened to Travis Clark and Demi Lovato? One word, REJECTED. Good job Demi. You rejected the “ginger”. She basically laughed at the idea of dating him. She tweeted, “Bahahahahaha @travisrclark and I are NOT dating…., Idk WHERE that came from!!! Hahahahahaha.. Wow… where do people get this stuff?”

Travis tweeted in response, “Rumors are rumors and that’s why they are called….(can anybody complete the sentence?) :P”. That is hilarious. They both denied each other!

We all knew she could’ve done better than that. Thankfully she finally figured it out!

Just as we’ve previously reported, John Mayer and Taylor Swift are more than friends.

A source said, “Taylor and John are absolutely more than ‘just friends’. They aren’t ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ or anything as provincial as that, but they have taken their friendship to the next level.”

Odd couple?

We totally called this one. While it was said that Selena Gomez cockblocked Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift’s heart fell into the hands of John Mayer.

Reportedly Mayer and Swift shared a nice intimate dinner together at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on January 6th.

A snitch said, “They came in together and got a private table in a corner of the restaurant. They seemed to really enjoy each other’s company. They definitely looked like a couple. John was telling stories, and she was hanging on every word!”

I can’t imagine John being that interesting, but whatever. Are you buying this?

Rihanna was spotted hanging out with L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp, sparking rumors that the duo are dating.

After Rihanna’s rough 2009, it would be nice to see her with someone who will treat her with respect.

You go girl.

I guess there must’ve been some chatter surrounding whether or not Arsenio Hall and Paula Abdul were hooking up, because Arsenio felt the need to release a statement about it.

The rumor was that the former couple hooked up again last week, but he says that’s not the case.

He said, “We are friends for life, and we love hanging out and laughing together, but we are not involved romantically.”

Oh Madonna, we see your new guy there! Who is this mystery man that’s making her put on that sly little grin? Tryin’ to be sneaky!

Madge was spotted leaving Assaggi Restaurant in Nottinghill. She reportedly spent the evening talking to this dark haired man who left momentarily after she did, but followed her back to her home in Marble Arch.

Who is this guy? Anyone?
