Demi Lovato Wants Britney Spears Back On The X Factor

It’s still up in the air about who will be taking the empty judges’ seats on the next season of “The X Factor”, except for one — Demi Lovato. Britney Spears jumped ship from the show after just one season, but Demi says that she’s devastated that she won’t be working with Britney again.

In a new interview, Demi said, “I wish Britney would come back. My next pick is Lady Gaga though, she’s so cool.”

In addition to Demi and Simon Cowell, the show will have two vacant chairs at the judges’ table. L.A. Reid has already announced his departure from the show last season. A snitch close to the situation said that Simon Cowell is looking for more of a chemistry between the judges as opposed to their names.

The source revealed, “Simon delivered a simple message: ‘Forget the big names and go for chemistry.’ He said all these shows have become distracted by signing celebrities rather than judges who really have something to say. We have all seen that big names don’t translate into big ratings. Chemistry is top of the list of demands for next season.”

Demi Lovato Lost Friends After Checking Into Rehab

Demi Lovato Lost Friends After Checking Into Rehab

“The X Factor” judge Demi Lovato says that she lost friendships once she checked in for treatment for her issues with bulimia and self-harming back in 2010. During your struggles, you always find out who your friends are, no? People surely show their true colors when you’re in need…

She called her treatment a “life-changing” move for herself, because it showed her who really cared about her. In a new interview with “Company” magazine, she said, “A couple of months before I went into rehab, I had a birthday party, and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends.”

She went on to say, “When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake-up call.”

She added, “I don’t have loads of friends. I used to, but then I realized, do any of them actually care? Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, will come to the hospital with me. Or they’ll answer the phone at 4 AM if I need them.”

Good for her. It’s better to have a smaller circle of friends who actually care than an entire group of fakes, don’t you think?

Will Demi Lovato Return To Judge The X Factor’s Third Season?

Will Demi Lovato Return To Judge The X Factor's Third Season?

Demi Lovato is a new addition to “The X Factor” judging table and has been making herself at home by bickering with the head honcho Simon Cowell. We have to say, we really do enjoy the entertainment value in seeing them bicker. He’s a stodgy, old British dude and she’s a young whippersnapper, so it definitely makes for good television. The question as to whether or not she will be returning for the show’s third season remains.

Now that her only act, Cece Frey, was eliminated from the competition on Thursday evening, Demi is officially out as a mentor and is only sitting as an impartial judge. She made the hard decision in sending Diamond White home, because if she would’ve voted for Fifth Harmony, that would’ve sent the sing-off decision into a deadlock. Deadlock is basically an easy way out if a judge is indecisive. Perhaps Simon has noticed?

In a new interview, Simon said, “It’s that time of year, you’re always going to get asked that question — and I’m not going to answer it.”

Despite all of their bickering on the show, Simon still has a soft spot for Demi. He said, “She’s fun. She really, really is a tough little thing. I know she plays the ‘I’ve been bullied’ [card] – trust me, this one gives as good as she gets.”

With regard to her harsh criticism of Emblem3, he added, “It did get a bit bitchy and unpleasant. I’ve got to look after my artists. Luckily, they didn’t listen to her.”

Britney Spears Not Feuding With Demi Lovato Or Khloe Kardashian

Britney Spears Not Feuding With Demi Lovato Or Khloe Kardashian

“The X Factor” judge Britney Spears was said to be feuding with fellow judge Demi Lovato and the show’s host Khloe Kardashian. Could you believe that? We could — if it were only true!

A tabloid source said that Britney was feeling above both Demi and Khloe so much that she “won’t talk to either of them.”

A spy said that adding Khloe to the show has “stolen some of Brit’s thunder – and she’s not happy about it.”

A snitch told “Life & Style” magazine, “When Khloe is on camera, Britney seems totally annoyed. She rolls her eyes and looks at the audience, then at her nails, then at the floor.”

Britney apparently has it out for Demi, as well, with a source saying that the reports of their bonding on the show is more “infuriating to Britney.”

“Gossip Cop” has blown the lid on the reported feuding between Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Khloe Kardashian. Sources close to the show said that the reports of their feuding are “not accurate”. Britney’s rep said that any reports that she won’t talk to Demi or Khloe are “laughable.”

And there you have it!

Demi Lovato Talks Jennel Garcia's X Factor Elimination

If you’ve missed last week’s elimination episode of “The X Factor”, then you’ve missed out on the drama that came between Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell. In the end, her two acts, Jennel Garcia and Paige Thomas were pitted against one another in the final sing-off. When the vote went to Simon, he pulled the “I’m the boss” card and made Demi decide who to send home.

Backstage after the show, Demi talked the elimination of Jennel and said that she didn’t know what wrong. Instead of sending her act home, she felt that Arin Ray should have been eliminated.

WATCH:

Do you agree with Demi? Do you think Jennel should’ve been spared and Arin should’ve been eliminated instead? We have to wonder how his mentor Britney Spears feels about this. What do you think? Is she right?

Simon Cowell Mean To Demi Lovato On The X Factor’s Elimination Episode?

Simon Cowell Mean To Demi Lovato On The X Factor's Elimination Episode?

Was Simon Cowell being mean to Demi Lovato on Thursday night’s double elimination episode of “The X Factor”? Let’s take a closer look at the situation, shall we?

When it comes to sing-offs on the show when the acts sing for survival, usually each judge gives their commentary until both acts have performed their respective numbers. Then, when it’s time to vote on which act to send home between the two acts, each judge votes and the mentoring judge is the last one to have their say.

On Thursday night’s show, Mario Lopez told Simon that he was to vote on who to eliminate prior to Demi making her choice. When pressed, Simon tried to get Mario to go to Demi, but Mario wouldn’t budge. Then, Simon insisted that he wanted to hear from Demi and Mario caved, calling him the boss.

Was Simon being mean pushing Demi to vote ahead of himself on the elimination episode? Was he simply testing her mettle as a judge on the show to see if she was able to make the right decision, no matter how tough? We are of the mind that he knew he was going to vote Jennel off, so why would he try to put extra unnecessary pressure on Demi? Was he being a television bully? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.

Simon Cowell Talks Demi Lovato 'X Factor' Bickering

In case you’ve missed the performance episode of “The X Factor USA” this week, then you’ve missed out on a lot of bickering between Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato. They were trading barbs with regard to mentoring their contestants each time one of them took the stage to perform. It was hilarious how they bounced off of one another. In case you’ve missed the action, we’ve recapped the show live here.

Simon is now commenting on the scuffle between himself and Demi. He said, “She was just annoying last night because I thought she got a few things wrong and she didn’t like the criticism, but actually, what I was saying was right.”

Demi said, “None of it’s rehearsed. We’re not one of those shows. It was definitely real.”

Despite all of the bickering that went on on the show, at least they have agreed that America was right to vote off Jason Brock. She said, “I think the right person went home. There have been a couple chances to improve where he was going and it just never clicked. I think there’s also room for Cece to improve.”

Jason’s mentor, L.A. Reid, said prior to the elimination, “If America sends Jason Brock home, I don’t question it. Am I sad to see him go? Absolutely. I think he was very good. He was very entertaining. I enjoyed him while he was here. He gave his best and that’s all I could ever ask.”

What did you think of the bickering? How about the elimination this week?

The X Factor Reveals The Top 12

The X Factor Reveals The Top 12

The top sixteen took to the live stage for the first time on the second season of “The X Factor USA” to prove their worth…unfortunately, only twelve contenders emerged victorious enough to make it through to the next stage in the competition.

Four competitors were eliminated on Thursday night’s show, leaving the top twelve! After each judge’s acts performed, they had to choose two to put through to the next round. Then, the remaining two acts had to perform in a sing-off to win the right to get through.

Demi Lovato saved Jennel Garcia and Paige Thomas, leaving Cece Frey and Willie Jones to sing for survival. Cece emerged victorious with her performance of “Out Here On My Own”, but Willie was sent home.

Performing second was L.A. Reid’s group of Over 25s. He chose to save Vino Alan and Tate Stevens, leaving David Correy to vie against Jason Brock in their sing-off. Jason busted out with Whitney Houston’s “One Moment In Time”, which saved him another chance to sing again.

Britney Spears’ acts performed next and she chose to save Beatrice Miller and Carly Rose Sonenclar. This left Arin Ray and Diamond White to perform against each other. Britney chose to save Arin and send Diamond home.

Simon Cowell’s groups rounded up the end of the live shows. He chose to save Emblem3 and Lyric145, leaving 1432 (formerly LYLAS) to perform against Sister C for Simon’s vote. He then chose to save 1432, but put it to a public vote as to what their new name should be.

What do you think 1432 should change their name to?
