Dina Lohan, Lindsay’s mother and manager, is said to be writing a memoir that she’s been shopping around to several publishers. She wants it to turn out to be a best seller.

Reportedly, the book talks about Lindsay’s problems with substance abuse and her partying ways. According to TMZ, the prologue says, “I blamed Lindsay’s friends, her career and her handlers for a new found lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay’s way of daily living – and it tore me up inside.”

She also reveals how she sent her daughter to Los Angeles with a chaperone because she didn’t want to deny Lindsay her dreams. She said that she didn’t feel that she could “deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime.”

Dina is already denying the “tell all” status of the book and calls it a “positive memoir”. She said, “I would never do a negative book about my child.” She also revealed that the memoir would be “all positive” and claims that it’s in the “if and when” stage.

Because no one ever said that you’d actually have to be a “star” to compete on a show like Dancing With The Stars, reports are swirling around that Dina Lohan wants to be a contestant! Oh yay.. They should really rename the show to Dancing With The Has-Beens…or perhaps the Never Was-es…?

I guess it would be feasible to think that ABC would take Dina, they’ve taken Bristol Palin, whose name we know only because her mom was the former governor of Alaska…and the fact that this “teen activist” got knocked up at such a young age and turned out to be a pro-abstinence advocate. Ugh. But…I digress.

Since Lindsay has been pretty much out of a well paying movie job since her recent lockup, maybe Dina just needs to earn some money?

Dina Lohan says she’s in talks to appear on “Dancing With the Stars.” On Sunday, Lindsay Lohan’s mom was overheard talking about her plans to appear on the ABC show as she celebrated her daughter’s birthday at a private house in Water Mill dubbed the Ciroc Cabana Club. Lindsay had been expected to join, but she stayed in LA to remain low-key after completing her house arrest.

I hope that this is merely a story planted there by the Lohans and that there’s no truth to it. What do you think?

Whenever Lindsay Lohan gets into some sort of trouble, you can count on Dina or Michael to try and make some sort of profit from her. Isn’t it lovely how parents try so hard to profit from their children’s misery?!??

Last Friday, Dina sat down with ABC to be interviewed about her daughter’s neverending struggles. All the while, her father is making bank off of exclusive interviews with gossip sites like Radar Online. A snitch reports that Dina made a cool $15,000 from ABC News for her Good Morning America and 20/20 interviews.

A rep fro ABC News said, “We did pay a license fee. We did pay a market-rate license fee for those images, and that was transparent to our audience.”

They are referring to the family photos of Lindsay that aired during Dina’s interview. Reportedly, this tactic is “used by news agencies who can’t legitimately pay for interviews with subjects who refuse to appear without a fee.”

Dina denies the payment claims, saying, “I have no idea what you are talking about. Where do you get your information? Most people are nice to me that call me on the phone.”

HA! Do you believe that she demands payment for interviews????

Since Lindsay Lohan is being turned loose from the Betty Ford Center, reports suggest that staffers at the famous rehab center are concerned about Dina’s involvement in Lindsay’s life.

One snitch said, “Yes, she’s Lindsay’s mother and obviously loves her, but many of us believe that Dina has been an enabling factor in her life and has contributed to Lindsay’s past lifestyle choices that have led her down that road to addiction.”

Lindsay will reportedly need to keep in “constant contact” with her two sponsors in order to keep her sobriety going.

Dina Lohan is really trying to insist that we believe her daughter Lindsay backed out of the role as porn star and drug addict Linda Lovelace in the movie Inferno. She’s practically cramming it down our throats that Lindsay turned the role down. Methinks doth protest too much, Dina.

It makes sense that she would turn the role down, considering that it would be weird for her to tap into her own personal experiences to play a drug addict. But Lindsay was adamant on playing this role for the longest time and even the director was behind her. Until recently, that is. The director has since said that she’s opted to go with Malin Ackerman for the role, instead of Lindsay.

Dina said, “The movie is about a drug addict and a porn star…it is hard when you are a serious actor with what she has been through, we don’t need that. Lindsay was disappointed because she really wanted to do it, but she felt that it would not be good for her after what she has experienced. It was hard for her to turn it down, because it was an amazing role.”

Perhaps she finally got around to reading the script for the part?

Still, Dina persists, saying, “She felt it wasn’t right to take that role after what she had been through, and play a drug addict. She made the ultimate decision, she always does.”

For Thanksgiving, Lindsay Lohan has been given her freedom! But there is a catch!

The actress has to stay in Los Angeles for the entire day and can’t leave, and, she has to be back at the Betty Ford Center by the end of the day.

Sources close to the actress tell TMZ, she’s leaving her sober living facility in Palm Springs this morning to make the 2-hour drive … but she has to be back by late tonight.

We’re told a bunch of Lindsay’s friends are coming to dinner … along with Michael Lohan.

Up to this point, her mother Dina was trying to make it so she could visit the rest of the Lohan clan in NYC, but that was a no go.

Dina Lohan is looking to sue Glee for mocking her daughter Lindsay on a recent episode. In the show, Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays a substitute Spanish teacher, instructs the kids on how to speak Spanish, by asking them questions about Lindsay.

In the scene in question, Gwyneth’s character says, “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right? How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?”

Then she tells the class, “Please get into groups and discuss how many times Lindsay Lohan has been in rehab.”

Reportedly, Dina is having her lawyers send out a letter to the show’s creators, saying that they’re defaming Lindsay. A rep for Lindsay said, “Lindsay has an issue that millions of people around the world are dealing with, yet Glee is treating addiction as a laughing matter.”

Dina has since denied the rumors, saying the reports are “absolutely not true”, saying the rumor is a “total lie”. She also went on to say that the reports were a part of a smear campaign against her by ex-husband Michael.

Lindsay Lohan is being advised by some rather smart people who have instructed her to keep her mother, Dina away from her finances and career. Reportedly, the actress was told to cut Dina loose from her empire if she wants to stay clean and sober.

A source close to Lindsay said, “Dina needs to no longer act as her manager, or work for her daughter in any capacity. Lindsay needs Dina to simply be her mother. Lindsay’s treatment team at Betty Ford has emphasized this to Lindsay, very, very strongly. Lindsay feels the financial burden of taking care of her entire family. It’s enormous pressure for any person in their twenties, let alone someone that is battling with addiction.”

This source sounds suspiciously like Michael Lohan, but call it a hunch.

The spy added, “Lindsay and Dina don’t have a normal mother and daughter dynamic because of the length of time that Dina has worked for Lindsay.”

Michael Lohan is fed up of all of the bad things that’s been happening to his daughter, Lindsay. He has met with a lawyer who is going to help him file papers for a conservatorship.

The funny thing is, he doesn’t want control over his daughter’s affairs. Who knew?!? TMZ has more:

Michael met with attorney David Chon (left) today and will hire him to file conservatorship papers … Chon specializes in trusts and estates.

We’re told Michael has enough sense to know the judge isn’t going to make him the conservator, so he has two other people in mind … though he’s not saying who.

Michael is saying, he doesn’t want Dina Lohan or Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor, to handle Lindsay’s affairs because “they’re in it for themselves.”

Our sources say Michael plans on filing a petition for conservatorship “within days.”

I am shocked that he’s not trying to get control for himself. It seems so out of character selfless.

Earlier today, Snooki appeared in court over her charge for annoying people and disorderly conduct. The judge referred to her as a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe” and said that he didn’t know if her dignity was worth a paycheck.

Just when I thought this judge was my new hero, Lindsay’s mother Dina has to open her yap and say that she’s basically unamused. Ugh. Any opportunity to cash in, right?

Dina didn’t find it funny AT ALL that the judge used her daughter’s name in reference to the tiny, tanned reality star. TMZ reports:

Dina tells TMZ, “The family is very disappointed that a judge would say that in a court of law.”

Judge Damian Murray ripped into Snooks today during her court appearance for basically being sloppy drunk on the beach.

Lindsay’s atttorney Stephanie Ovadia added, “The comments were very unprofessional.”

This just makes me laugh even harder about it. HAHA. Thanks Dina, you’re officially a moron.
