If Donald Trump decides to utter the phrase “You’re fired!” one last time and actually throw his hat into the 2012 Presidential race, we’ve learned that NBC will continue with The Apprentice, without The Donald!

So what is The Apprentice without the guy who makes the show what it is? He is all about the conflict and the drama, so we have to wonder who they would get to fill his shoes? Who will utter the famous phrase? Charlie Sheen? He’s an “unemployed winner” who has no network affiliations and is already seen as a hot commodity.

According to NBC President Bob Greenblatt, the show would absolutely go on without its famous leader at the helm. Bob said that although the network does hope to have Trump continue his rein with firing people like mad, if he’s busy with politics, the show must go on! He said, “If he decides to run and is unavailable to do the show, we will bring the show back and someone else will be sitting at the head of the board table.”

Don’t get your hopes up if you were thinking that he would speculate on who would replace Trump. He revealed, “Who that is, we’re not going to really entertain, because I’m still hoping we’ll have Donald back in the seat.”

Bret Michaels is suing the Tony Awards and CBS for his injuries at the awards show — all at the behest of real estate mogul Donald Trump!

He said that talks to resolve the issue broke down because they were “pretty cold”. Donald offered him the advice to sue aggressively, but Bret said that he just wanted to be compensated for work time lost due to the injuries he suffered.

He had just finished performing Nothin’ But A Good Time on the Tony Awards when a set piece ascended upon him, knocking him down. He said that there were no safety precautions in place. He went on to reveal that the show’s producers could have delayed the broadcast so that they wouldn’t embarrass him.

He said, “They never needed to show me getting hurt. They didn’t offer to pay my medical costs or anything….I’m sorry it came to this.”

Last night, during his appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Donald Trump unveiled the cast members for the eleventh season of Celebrity Apprentice!

I’m disappointed. Where’s the eye candy?!?? We will never have the chance to hear Donald Trump tell Michael Lohan, “You’re fired!” because apparently the father of the year has turned down an appearance on Celebrity Apprentice.

Something tells me it was probably the other way around, considering you’d have to actually be a celebrity before appearing on the show. Call it a hunch.

Mike says that he was in negotiations to be a part of the upcoming cast, but had to pull out over previous commitments. He said, “Although the meeting went well, I was too busy with other things to be on the show.”

Are you buying this?

Now wouldn’t it be something if Bret Michaels actually won this season of Celebrity Apprentice? He’s worked hard for his charity and plans on “not waiting for the other shoe to drop and living his life”.

He seems adamant that, despite his health concerns, he will be attending the live season finale of the show. Either Donald Trump is paying him 800 tons of money to be there or he actually wins the show against Holly Robinson Peete.
